Going back to Helium, Triond is a Pain!

I've gotten sick and tired of all the trashy, poorly written articles on Triond. I'm a good writer and I try hard, but I'm sick of all the poor writing on the site, at least on Helium they will delete poor quality articles. Now if there's something that's spamm, I have to flag it in order for it to go away.

Hi Reviewmemedia, I think you should use Helium as the main writing site, and Triond as the secondary writing site. Helium is very strict with the format of article writing, and has certain restrictions on what to write, and what not to write. If you have certain frustrations in life, then you can use Triond to air out your opinions. I do not think you can use Helium to complain about how useless the politicians in Washington are, but you can do that in Triond.

I am mainly frustrated that the site doesn't police their articles for poorly written work and illegal spam and they have to rely on people flagging articles to get them removed.

Hi Reviewmemedia, actually Helium is the same. Helium allows you to publish immediately, and then rely on the rating system to get rid of poorly written work and illegal content. The problem with Triond is that it waits until now to take action. If Triond has started this August challenge much earlier, the websites will be better and have less rubbish.

I am trying to get back into doing some writing. I am out of work, so I need an income. I am curious about why you left Helium in the first place. I have been gone there for about three years, due to my own laziness, but I have gone back and started rating, and I like some of the changes I see. I signed up for every writing site I ever heard of, but I have used very few. In fact Helium is the one I used most, but got discouraged. Do you write other places as well?

I didn't leave, I just haven't written anything for them in awhile, Triond was easier because I didn't have to write as much, but I'm getting more from Helium earning wise than triond. I am probably going to start writing for Helium again soon.

I have to agree with you, Triond is not nearly the quality of site that Helium is, though I guess it does have its uses. You can at least post photos there and earn from them as well. But the articles are for the most part not very good.
