What should I write a blog about?

Writing about anything i like writing about nothing. The successful blog is the blog where one come and keep returning because find there information about something is interested into. Just focus: beside writing what else do you enjoy doing it? There have to be a hobby .. there have to be something you feel pleasure doing it. You like flowers? Write about plants and gardening. You like cars? Write about cars, brands, exhibitions, whatever. You like to sleep? Write about what you have dreamed. You like eating? Write about food, ingredients, recipes. You like sport? Write about games you saw or you been involved into. And so on. In time, you'll make a loyal public which will see you as one who knows all about that subject, a guru. But if you write about many different things, all you'll accomplish - in a long term - is to confuse readers, which will make them to be not loyal and not coming back to your blog.

I'm looking into starting a blog and unsure what to write about. did you ever decide what to write your blog about? Please share

I would say unless you are trying to make money from your blog then write about what ever you feel like at the moment. That maybe your feelings on something political, a review of a movie or a book or just a recipe you cooked. By writing about anything which comes to mind not only will you improve as a writer, expressing your opinion and feelings on a variety of subjects but you may find something that you are truly passionate about, that you have a lot to say on and never get bored of talking about. And if you do find something which lights a fire in your soul then you could start a second blog just about that subject and if you want to monetize it.

If writing is your passion, then write about anything you like. Or you may choose different subjects like traveling, photography, literature etc and create different blogs on different subjects. You have no problem in launching a number of blogs because blogger.com allows it. So you need not worry and go on with your project.

I think writing has no boundaries, so you can start with anything. There must be something which interest you. Start with that. You may not know about its potential. Only after you start writing blog , you will see the results. So start writing, and see what happens.
