It's been a while and I'm already here, hehe! Most of my mylot close friends knows why I'm absent for days here. I miss mylot so much!
Anyways, the discussion is all about microworkers. I'm about to send a withdrawal request this afternoon in microworkers(MW) but I noticed there was no paypal mode of payment,oh no! Mode of payments available are Alertpay and Moneybookers only, yay! I wonder if you also encounter this. What shall I do now? I do have an Alertpay account but I wish to earn my money on paypal. Any help?

mtr-- I checked up the site of alertpay. it allows you to withdraw using ur bank account.
You may be aware -but the picture in the his page says it is easy.
https://www.alertpay.com/en/howitworks.aspx
pl receive payment in alertpay itself. What is the issue? Are their charges higher than that of paypal.

Paypal doesn't charge to receive money!
I havent examined Moneybookers at all, so I cannot speak for their service...
But when I signed up with Alertpay, it said that you could withdraw money to your credit or debit card.
I WAS doing stuff on Microworkes until some other recent changes put me off. I got my last cashout amount of $10.xx and requested a payment... It was only then that I found out that they had disabled the Paypal function.
To start, it would have been nice to have been notified! I used to do a LOT of work on Microworkers, but had not completed tasks from May until last week, so I wasnt aware of the change. I quickly completed $10.xx of work.. went to cash out and SURPRISE!!!
So I went with Alertpay.
Alertpay charges minimal cash to withdraw to a bank account. First, I tried the credit card option. Alertpay charges $5 to send money to your credit card and it takes 2-5 days.... after Id already waited 3 on Microworkers just to release the funds. *sigh* When I went to cash out, it said that their credit card option was temporarily disabled and to choose another payment method. GRRRR!
So, I went to withdraw to my other debit cards corresponding bank account... and their system keeps telling me that the bank name is invalid.. It is a PERFECTLY valid bank name! I emailed Alertpay support 48 hours ago and am still waiting on their response!
The whole thing is VERY frustrating. I have NO cash right now and my 9 year old daughter's 10th birthday is tomorrow. I was depending on that little bit of money to be able to get her even a small gift. Now, she receives NOTHING because I have no income for at least two more weeks.
I've explained the situation to her and I'm very blessed that she understands, but I shouldn't have to explain it. Microworkers should have properly notified workers of changes and Alertpay... well, they just need to step up!
I won't be doing anymore work for Microworkers though... because I'm not going to pay someone to pay me. To my knowledge, I have to claim all of the income on my taxes and I dont feel like consistently paying tax on funds that I never receive or put to use for anything.

@ravisivan..hi ravis! Honestly,I have no issues about alertpay,it's just that all of my earning sites use paypal as their payment method and I wanted all my earnings to be just in my paypal account so I can easily cash out when I already reach my target earnings.
@zoey..hi! Sorry for my delayed reply, belated happy birthday to your daughter, you are so blessed to have a very understanding child!
I also checked on alertpay and was happy about the credit card but yes,it's temporarily unavailable,oh my! I guess I just have to exchange funds to my trusted friends, you can also do it.
I wish microworkers will allow paypal again as their mode of payment. I agree with you on they should have informed us about the paypal issue.

Yes. I agree that microworkers should have informed of changes. Re. taxes I think u need to pay only when u receive it. Please check up. I am not from usa and hence I wont be able to tell firmly on that.
I wish your daughter Happy Birth day. Our blessings and good wishes in abundance.

I am a member of Microworkers. I requested my payment two weeks ago but I haven't got my payment. Then I found a discussion about Microworkers and then I learned it doesn't offer Paypal payment any more. This is so disappointing. So last Sunday I decided to request my payment to Alertpay as I am afraid it will be a sign to show that Microworkers will become a scam. I want to get my money as soon as possible. Even if Alertpay is not a payment method I like, but at least it is better for me to get the money anyway.
I love China

When I requested my payment several weeks ago, at that time Paypal was available. But soon Microworkers doesn't offer Paypal to pay. I have waited for my payment but no good news or reply from Microworkers. Then finally I cancelled my payment and requested it to my Alertpay. I got my payment yesterday. Now I just have a headache to find our a way to withdraw the money in my Alertpay account.

I see,so now I just have to tell my friend to just cancel his first request and use alertpay instead. I just made a request for payment using alertpay this morning and will wait for days for it to be credited. My plan is to send the money to a trusted friend of mine and she will send it back to my paypal,I think that's the only and best way for us to get the money from alertpay with no charges.

Hi youless!
You said you've requested your payment two weeks ago using paypal. Did you cancel it and requested to withdraw in alertpay instead? How was it? Was it already credited to your alertpay? A friend of mine said he requested for payment but paypal is still available that time. Would love to know how was it with you, thanks!

How have you been lately, my friend? It had been quite long i didn't see you active posting in here. As for myself, i had been on and off from Mylot once in a while, might be had missed out your news. It is sad to know Microworkers don't have paypal as their payment processor anymore. Seems like, i will need to request for my next payout through Alertpay and exchange them with my friends. Do let me know, if you have receive your money successfully through Alertpay. Because i will still need to collect another dollar to be able to reach the payout. Good luck to all of us...

It was also an unpleasant surprise for me to see that Microworkers no longer pays through paypal,so I had no other choice but to ask for a withdrawal using Alertpay, and they paid me,so I guess paypal is a thing of the past,we have to adjust to this reality and use the other payment processors.

Hi polaris!
I'm glad to know that MW credited the payment to your alertpay. I just requested for it just this morning. May I ask what method did you use to withdraw your money from alertpay?

Hi laydee!
I don't know anything about moneybookers. Honestly,it's my first time to hear about it,lolAs for alertpay, the charges are high compared to paypal. They also credit our earnings to our credit card but they charge us $5 if I'm not mistaken,oh my! I just hope paypal will be back in microworkers.

Hi enigma! Welcome here!
Yeah,I noticed lots of mylotters have already posted this matter,oh my! That only means many mylotters are in to microworkers.
You can sign up on alertpay for free enigma and save your earnings there until you decide to withdraw it. SAdly,I wanted all my earnings to be in paypal but a mylotter said I could exchange it to others so I will still see if I can do it but that's the only option I think I should do.
