Will you still be a gamer as the prices keep going up?

Do you predict the cost of gaming will go up with the next generation of systems coming? And if so, how much do you think they'll go up? personally, I think our games themselves, if they're still primarily disc will go up at least $10. And as prices go up, I become less and less certain on whether or not I'll still be a gamer as time goes on. There are more important things than games in life. With the way prices keep going up, they might have to be sacrificed. I'm not in dire need of money. It's just the hobby itself is become a great burden on the wallet.

i watch VOA about gaming and they said that with the bad economy it most likely that game price will drop to sustain their customers so i think i game price will drop instead of rising, so i think gamer will still do gaming.

I would like to believe that. But I'm not so sure that's the case. As tech evolves, the price of it has gone up dramatically. I don't see our gaming hobby going backward in price anytime soon

Frankly speaking I don't know how much the price will go up. But I will still be a gamer. And that too forever.
