What you think about current news from UK? I like near Croydon. And what I have seen it from my window is on the picture. Damages are huge. Police is helpless. THey just stood there and watch how the mob looted the shops. It's awful.

London police need to act, not stand and watch the mob loot the shops and burn the cars, they are acting like a bunch of spectators on a movie shooting scene than police officers. It is time for the police to stop playing city politic role and carry out their duty to protect and serve the people of London and Liverpool. Try to become police officers again, not city politician body guards.

Obviously London "Bobby" is either afraid to do their job, or got instruction from higher up not to take action against the looters and youth thugs. Professional police force will not hesitate to use lethal force if rioters turn violent and aggressive, this is a riot, not protest. Trust me, UK parliament doesn't pass civil right to protect young British thugs to riot in public street except peaceful protest. It is just nonsense these thugs are exercising their rights according to London Mayor.

Here we go again! Rioters destroy your working class neighborhood. Later, government rebuilds the area for rich people. You can no longer afford to live there! Same has happened for decades! See St.John's area of Bristol as a good example.

Hi koperty,I also saw all this riots on t,v.headline is mob rioting on london street. it is very horrible situation.I feel worry about you ,please stay safely in your home.and I pray to god to stop all this .now Govt. take action against it.and it is bad to see such a beautiful place get ruined like this,all burns and violence.

Thank you my dear friend we are at home. I can still hear helicopters and police cars around. But I think this night will be peaceful in Croydon. They have problem in Manchester and Bromwich and in Leeds. This is horrible like a war.
