Really I'm wondering if animals also suffer labor pains like humans do...

I watch the National Geographic and see how some animals had borne their offspring. And I am often curious if they ever get labor pains like humans do. And I don't know if it is has being studied by scientists if they do. They don't seem to have the pain at all when they are having labor. They don't make any sound like screaming or crying like many women do when we have labor.

Hmmmmm.. Maybe they can feel pain but not to the extent of pain like what humans feel. :)

I think they do, I have a cat and every time before giving birth, she seems in pain,I think animals can't scream or cry because of all the predators out there, besides animals can bear the pain better than we human do.
