Ads that make me so furious it brings out my inner gangster! ( a rant)

Now I thought I was getting used to ignoring the stupid ads but there a few that make me furious. Have you seen the ad where a mom is about to go out and get dinner and there is a knock on her door and guy with a pan and Velveeta Skillet. He then shows her How to cook the meal that is like Hamburger Helper.And then he is back at the door with the product and she has this puzzled expression on her face. If I were she he would have been hit over the head with that Pan. If I want to fix a meal at home I Would . But when it is Take Out Night no Velveeta slop will be a good substitute. Speaking of fast food , Burger King's new ad where people are Stealing minis from each other is an assault waiting to happen. I keep picturing catching up with the thief and getting the fellas to hang them by the ankles over a high building Until the apologize!
. And there is another where the guy who played Michael in the Sopranos says just because a guy doesn't drink Vodka and doesn't real a suit , he isn't a real man. Sorry Real men can and do wear what they like and Many don't drink And last but not least is the new phone with the Facebook button. Two " friends" think it is funny to take a picture of their sleeping friend and post it. That's when those friends become enemies Real Fast with me. And Payback would be when I set up someone Real close and post It on Face Book.I know the ad men and women Wanted me to remember and Buy these products but All they did once again is make me want to boycott them! Thanks for listening. I feel so much better!

I don't pay much attention to commericals. Alot of the time I have the tv on I am on the computer. I don't pay attention to commerical like some other people. I don't and never will. The only commercials I really watch and like are some I see on Super Bowl. That are the only ones I care about.

I really don't pay attention to those . I'm either not watching because I really don't care who will win or I am focus on the game!

Sometimes we just need to get it out. I have not seen any of those except the last one. I would be pretty ticked off if someone took a picture of me sleeping and sent it out to other people. It would be boring of course, because I am a quiet sleeper, I don't snore or talk in my sleep or anything like that, so it wouldn't be amusing to record me in my sleep, but it would tick me off none the less.

Honestly, I haven't seen any of these. I rarely watch television; much of the time, I don't even watch video online either. In fact, when we move again, I don't think that the television will be coming along; the few things that we watch, we can catch online... and those are fairly few things, indeed. Besides, where I want to move to, we should be busy with other things such as civic organizations, volunteering, etc.

this past summer season I have seen more t.v shows! I usually would live on the movie channels! life without t.v. Wow! I'm impressed.

After the Go Compare advert (Make it be over! Kill the fat man who sings!!!) my next big hate is that dreadful import from across the pond, Build-a-Bear.
"Build-a-Bear workshop," slurps the saccharine, perma-Tangoed voiceover. "Where best friends are made."
No it's not, you All American Moron! It's where profits are made!
Yes, despite X-Files, Wolverine and Sky Atlantic, there are times when I revert to being a moaning British Limey. MyLot Cafe "Moms" arriving didn't help.

You know, you have really just reminded me about a lot of the reason why I don't watch that much television any more. Well beside the fact that there is really not that much I tend to really like these days. Still there is just a lot of commercials that do make me wonder what they were thinking, well at least there were when I was still watching enough television on a regular basis. Nice to see things haven't changed all too much.
I seem to only use the commercial breaks as they are for a reason to go to the bathroom, get a snack, check my e-mail and pretty much all of that. However, it does in fact seem like when I return to the room, there tend to be a lot of stupid commercials. Of course, I'm sure that these commercials are playing to the lowest common denominator, because those are going to be the people who are going to be likely to open up their wallet and empty it for these companies.

These must all be American commercials, because I have not seen a single one of them. I hope I'll never see them, either. I get some American stations up here, but I have yet to see these commercials.

LOL...I know what you mean. Candied photos are out with me and it will be a very bad day if one of my friends post something stupid like that of me on facebook. I think that in their quest to be silly and remembered..they forget..or don't care about the real effects that stuff can have on people. Like the drinking..well...who wants to have a drunk husband..no matter what kind of suit he has on?
