Just last week, late at night, i heard my husband called me and saw that he has a lighted flashlight while knocking at the window near my part of the bed. He came late, since they had a meeting at the office and afterward a drinking spree, to further discuss the issues tackled. So i answered him that i will be going to the front door to open it for him. However, i cannot move. Suddenly, i was groaning and i saw my husband frantically banging the glass window and shouting my name. I suddenly woke up and realized i was already having a nightmare. I opened the front door of the house and my husband hugged and told me he was frantic because i was already having a nightmare! Had you ever have a nightmare?

I have to say that that is a strange dream. But I have had a dream similar to that. I remember, I was laying in bed and I decided to move and wake myself, but I was unable to move, I was unable to open my eyes or to speak. I struggled for awhile, but then I figure if I give up the struggle I will be able to wake up, so thats what I did, then I woke up.I was sweating though, but I was not scared. Strange, I had that dream years ago and have never had another one since.

I think, when we are dreaming and comes a time that we feel like waking up, yet because we are still asleep just cannot, it becomes a nightmare. Don't you think so, because actually, there no scary thing in our dream?

Dreams are just that, dreams. But sometimes they can seem very real. No, there is nothing to be afraid of in our dreams. Think of them as mini movies.

I don't usually dream nor have nightmare but when I do, I noticed that those were the nights or times that I forgot to pray. Whenever I go to bed, I would always say a prayer no matter how short it is so that I'm secured even in my unconscious state. There were some of those that I wasn't really sure if it was really a dream/nightmare or not because it feels real and I felt conscious. One of those that I cannot forget was during a siesta. I was lying in my bed that time trying to get to sleep when I felt something dark wrap around me that I cannot move. I really felt conscious and I tried to shout so that they will hear me outside but no words came out. It was actually like a wrestle with a bad spirit. I really felt helpless because it was so strong and my strength was draining. Then I think of the Lord and asked for help and instantly it was gone. The moment it was gone, I was already awake and sweating so much, so I have some doubts if it really happened or if it was just in my dream. I have several experiences like this such as that possession I've shared with you, and I guess they were just trying to scare/oppress me because they knew that I wasn't afraid of them.

I prayed that night, but i guess it was triggered by my husband's knocking on our glass window to waken me up to open the door. I guess, your experience is more of a test of your faith, since from what i surmise from you post, you are a prayerful person. But i salute you for warding it off.

Most of my nightmares are out-of-body experiences. I would feel so light that I would see myself float. I would hit the walls, and I would feel all the treatments that I have on the walls. I would feel the paintings, the curtains, etc brush my shoulders. And then when I would look down, I would see myself sleeping on the bed. That's when I would panic, and would frantically try to get back. I would also feel not being able to move for a quite a while until I wake up sweating.

Out of body experience! I have never experienced that. If ever, i would really be scared to sleep anymore.
