The religions are different, have different views than they ever had all together in peace life. Others impose their faith to want to kill others hunt, or burn .... , there was peace! It exists even today and will not give him unfortunately never ..

in my opinion, religion never meant to destroy peace. Religion is about surrender yourself to higher being. Some people who is hunger for power use this condition to gain followers. these people who is hunger for power then use their follower to gain even more power. In other place other people who is also hunger for power gain their follower using the same method. At some period of time these people meet each other and they both want a bigger power so they make their follower to go to war, whoever win the battle gain the bigger power. Those people who once surrender themself to higher being end up being use as weapon by people who is hunger for power, that's why it looks like religion always destroy peace. I think it's good for us to have a religion, but just remember that we surrender to higher being, and it is not human or some religious leader.

I believe that the origin of war is not in religion but in human nature! Like any other knowledge can be a religion distorted and exploited for political purposes, which was made ??in the story too often.

Both. Religions in human history, always had an ordering function, provided for the observance of social rules and served the ruling power to enforce their respective claims. So it seemed quite satisfactory, you have to imagine it this way, that certain crimes with the "normal" human resources does not pursue, could still be prosecuted. A "higher" power, gain, everything looks and you can not escape, was there even much more effective than the respective rulers might have eventually sent a few riders - or maybe not. For the enforcement of claims to the outside, but religions were always promoting war with them, let fanaticism people, let them explain themselves, why should we kill people of other countries, beliefs or skin color. Examples include the Crusades, the Thirty Years War, but also the destruction of indigenous peoples in Latin America. However, one should differentiate, not the religions - as you would like to simplify is - this destruction has caused, or committed, they were merely a means - often profane material - Purpose.

Religion has never made ??peace. It is a institutionierter faith and is used by the churches to establish their power. And they always will be focused on their power to expand influence. If she also appears to benefit by war.
