how is this possible for cyanides?

All of us know that very powerful poison is cyanide. there are other chemicals which are very poisonous, but cyanide brings death immediately, how is it possible for it , to bring death immediately? Does any one u know reason for this?

The common poisons are Hydrogen cyanide and Potassium cyanide. Many other cyanide compounds are not poisonous. For example, Super glue is a cyanide compound - it may cause burning and join your flesh together but it wont poison you. Cyanide is a nerve poison which quickly stops your breathing and heart.
