I've been looking for day shift job for a month now but still I haven't found any. I've been working for almost 3 years on grave yard shift and I really want to work during the day. It is so difficult to get a job...

True!! Getting job is one hard job in itself. I've been looking for part time jobs for 1+ year now i guess. God I'm so frustrated!! I really wanted to grab hold a job this summer but now even when the summer's almost over I don't have a job. And I don't know what to do coz I really wanna earn some extra cash coz I wanna go travel next year!! Anyway, unlike me, i hope you get a job pretty soon. Good luck

Thank you that girl! I'm really hoping to get a job really soon. I know it is difficult but I'm hoping I'll be able to get one. Earnings here in My Lot is not enough though I really enjoy staying on this site.

Yes, jobs nowadays are really tight. There are a lot of competition going on and others will just get the job even if the price is so low which gives the guys with better credentials but asks decent salaries at a disadvantage. Just don't stress out and pressure yourself. I have found out that the job for me is the one that suddenly came along and not the one I strongly pursued. You'll get what you want. Just be patient and persevere.

That is right! When you find that job that you really like and suitable for you, you will save yourself from the wasting time sucking up those other jobs you don't like. And yes, it will save you the effort of hopping from different jobs and work environment every now and then which equivalently save you from being marked as a company hopper. I wish you luck in finding that job!

I was in the same situation 3 months back; I had lost my job and was looking for a new one. And when you are looking for a new job, you always feel it is so difficult to find a new one. And now that I have found a new fantastic job I feel I never want to experience that no-job situation. Keep trying, look for the ones most appropriate to your skills, and compromise on somethings you will surely find one soon Good Luck!!!

Thanks Toni! I really hope that I will be able to get a new job soon. I'm praying about this so I'll just try my best to get a new job. It is true that it is difficult to get a job. But just like what agent gulaman says, it takes patience and perseverance.

May be mate because now these days because of heavy competition for every job it is difficult to get a new job. I think you might have left the opportunity, please try to remember may be you might have thought a job found is small to you and kept away. Try these kind of jobs also, it does not matter how small the job is but it matters how much you have respect towards it. So, try man.

Competition is indeed heavy specially with the degree that I took. I want to get a job where I can grow and stay. A job that offers career growth. No matter how small it is, I hope it can be fulfilling.

Then I can advice you should start your own business man. If you are lack of investment then you can take a loan from a bank and star your own business right. So, If you like and earn with this idea I will be more happier man. You should contact a bank or financial company for a loan. They also offer loans by taking your degree as a sure.

Personally the way jobs are now, I can truly relate with this one. It many times depends on the type of job you are looking for, and the pay, and where you are looking at the time as well. Around here since the unemployment rate seems to be so high you can often go to a lot of different interviews and talk with people. The problem lies in finding something that will work for you with the hrs. and pay, etc. if ever highered on to some of these places as well. All I can say is Good Luck in your Job search and don't give up hope.

so sorry. many people all over the world have no job, no income much at all. especially day time jobs. so, night is the easiest to get and even then, theres not many to be had. so consider you are lucky to have one even if you hate it.

I've been working for a grave yard shift for almost 4 years now. I like my job, I met a lot of friends and I did learn a lot. However working at night can develop health problems. As much as possible, I need to get a morning job to avoid health issues.

Since you're here in the Philippines, I can recommend some companies that you can transfer to that allows a morning shift. The latest shift they actually have starts 4 in the afternoon. I'm not sure if you're amenable to that, but it's almost the best time to work. considering that it's the latest shift they have. The kind of job you like isn't too hard to find. You just need to know where to look!

It is difficult to get a new job, especially if you're out of work and looking for one. I've heard that engineers can get good jobs because they are in high demand, but other people have to work harder to find a job.

My boyfriend is a graduate of an engineering course. Mechanical Engineer to be exact and he has some certifications already. But still it is difficult to get a new job. The only available jobs are the call center ones.

I think its good you start looking for an alternative career online. Night shifts damages your health in the long run. I am currently into US staffing and working in the nights. It is so difficult to work when the city sleeps. so i decided from a week that i will look for an alternative income online. So i am working hard to reach the target. How long you been working in the night shifts?

I've been working for almost 4 years now in a grave yard shift. It is really difficult for me though most of mys friends are already used to it. Not to mention that the focus of my job is to take calls. It is really stressful and I already encountered multiple health problems due to this.

Hi bhaby! Yes I was previously working in a BPO. But working at night is really difficult for me. I'm quite used to it however I really want to work during day time. Probably a work that will not require me to take calls. Thanks!

There are some BPO companies that cater to Australian and New Zealand customers, you may want to try those. You'll be on a day shift schedule.

Yes I also consider Australian accounts. But mostly they offer a job for outbound sales agent. I already applied to 2 companies that offer day shift positions. I'm just waiting for their response because the schedule for training would be on september.

Even I don not have any job now. I lost my job one month back and it is true it is really difficult to get new job. But I am hoping to find a good job and searching really hard for that. Because my online earning is not been that good. I am sure you will get your job very shortly. And once you get job, you will laugh at your present condition. Seriously! Because after getting a job, you will feel it was so easy. So best of luck!

Hi! I know how it feels to work in a graveyard shift since my brother is a Team Leader in a BPO Company also. I can suggest something for you but this is not a job but a kind of business. You may opt to try MLM in our country since they are hit already and easy to earn cash. You just have to invest a small amount to be part of the business then you can start earning money by referrals and selling the products of the company. Products varies from companies to companies. In my case, I am in a MLM that sell prepaid products and I also earn from referrals. Maximize your potential by investing it to something useful.

yes, with the hard times that the world is experiencing right now it is difficult to get a nice and good job that is for daytime and has specific hours like office jobs. if you are used to night time jobs but no calls, i think that there are non voice accounts in some BPO companies.
