Paypal Problem

Me and my husband have our verified paypal personal account for two years now. Now, I created another personal account, using different bank account number and credit card number, but they limited this third account, even if it is verified already for four months. I followed their required action to confirm the credit card, but still it is limited. I already sent them an email saying that I have submitted and completed the action required, still they did not respond and the account is still limited. I'm confused. I don't know if it is because we are using the same IP address..Does anyone have the same experience. Can someone advise me what to do with this. I have a balance in that paypal account already, and I can't send or withdraw them.

You can only have 2 accounts: a personal and a premier or business account. Check this link: https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/main.jsp;jsessionid=GwRJTDQGhGsKNxrT2KM4ssvBLkpBRQjmFzP42Qvn6NyFJNYkZSpn!1530143700?locale=en_US&_dyncharset=UTF-8&countrycode=PH&cmd=_help&serverInstance=9002&t=solutionTab&ft=searchTab&ps=solutionPanels&solutionId=12730&isSrch=Yes So if you have 2 personal accounts under your name alone then that may have been the reason why your account has been limited. Submit another ticket.

Hello dian, As said by others you are violating PayPal terms of service. I believe that PayPal wants you to convert your second account in a business account to stop the limitation. I don't know the laws applying to PayPal in your country. A possibility in Europe would be to link the limited account to a bank account -- not a credit card --, and then you would be able to withdraw earnings in your balance to your bank account 6 months and 1 day after the date they froze it, and suppress it. I know it is long, but there is no fees. You can also try to contact them by phone and threaten them of a lawsuit in your country, if they continue to freeze this account : it works often... when you are not violating their rules.

Hi dian21 :) I feel sorry about what you have experienced with paypal recently. Unfortunately, i did not have experienced such problem with paypal. In my family, there are three of us which have paypal account, one for each. But, actually each of us used different laptop when we opened this account. After that, there is no problem we have had experienced if we open our paypal account using somebody else's laptop. I do not understand why paypal administrator did not act quickly and give their best response in handling your inconvenience with your paypal account. As far as i know, i contact the customer service first by email, from my paypal account after log in, then i just need to reply their message, then my problem with verification is solved. I really hope you can have your problem solved quickly. Keep trying! :) Have a bless day! :)

Hi Dian, I am sorry to hear that :( The main reason your account had been limited maybe because you are breaking their Terms of Services. You can't have two personal accounts in the same time (with your name, even you have different credit card number). If you want to have two accounts, then one account should be upgraded to Premier or Business type. I suggest you to read the Terms of Services carefully before signing up to a program, to avoid similar things happen. Maybe you can send another support ticket or make a phone call to appeal. Maybe you can say that you are willing to upgrade one of your account or so. And may I know whether it is permanent limit or 180-days-limit? Because I ever heard that if it is 180-days-limit, there's a possibility you can withdraw your funds after 180 days/6 months. Best wishes for you.
