Home remedies that work for acne blemishes?

I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and of course, a big pimple showed up on my face. I don't have much money right now so I was wondering if there are any home remedies that work on pimples. It doesn't have a head and it is sore. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

You can use lemon extract because it content of acid which can fight the bacteria.Use it before you take a bath leave it for 15mins. Just bear with it because its quiet itchy. The lemon extract also won't leave any pimple marks because this will lighten your skin.You can also put toothpaste before go to bed i don't know the reason why but its effective. For some reason using toothpaste will bring the pimple to a head so you can pop it. Be careful if you do that though, you don't want to make the pimple even worse and make it redder by popping it.

I read on the internet that lemon juice can be of help. I have tried it personally and it works. But because it can dry up your skin, so please remember to apply moisturer on your face after washing it off. For a start, you may want to just apply it on the pimple and apply it gently using a piece of cotton or cotton ball.
