Why do we say "YES" when what we really want to say is "NO"

Is it really possible?
Can you still remember the day that you're doing something very important then that person approach you and ask you a favor. Even you are hesitant of his favor, you really are planning to say "NO" but instead you said "YES".
Probably you have this kind of experience. I'll be quiet interested to hear about it.

Hello,
Once I was working on my project then another company came for a new project, But for me this project must be completed.
I thought of saying no to them. But due to some hesitation. I said yes. But, I never break my words. So, I had to do it. That's why this is my one real case.

Hi!
Is that really true?
How did you manage to complete both the project?
You must be very busy by that time. Just the thought of it makes me wonder if you ever had time to eat and rest.

What should I say man, I don't even had a nice sleep. I slept for only an hour during those days. Those were most memorable days. But the projects are completed on time.

At least you survive that challenge my friend. And now, i'm pretty sure you were very proud to yourself after you have completed the projects on time. It's kinda fulfilling you know. If i was the one in your place, after those sleepless night, i'll be surely sleeping for one whole day just to feel relax.

I do... I like doing task for others, though I don't consider myself as a push over, but I really can't say NO to anyone, but when I accept a task I make sure that it is clear to that person that I can't rush things. I take pride of the help that I can give to anyone, it gives me joy. I am not a good samaritan, but I enjoy to be of service to anyone, but then again, I do help only upto the extent of what I can do based on my capacity.

SUPER WOW!!!!
You really are a helpful person. We couldn't find a person now a days that help others without asking in return. But there you are, you're extending your hands to others in your own little ways hoping that by doing such could help lighten the burden of others.
And yes, I do concur that helping others can give joy especially if the person you'd help said "THANK YOU". The word "THANK YOU", though it's just two simple words, it could give satisfaction and fulfillment that makes you realize that you have done something for that person worth thanking for.

I don't have a probably saying no to people.I'm not a pushover so when i don't wanna do something no one can force me to.But i think people say yes when instead wants to say no because they are scared of how the person will react and maybe they want to please them.It takes a lot of courage to say no and some people just don't have enough courage to say no to people.

Hi!
Yes, I do agree with what you have said. It's really hard to say "NO" especially if the individual involve is someone special and important or an individual who you respected most in your life. For example, a member of your family or your best friend whose very close to you.
