My 6 year old son has had a wiggly tooth for awhile. I have been waiting forever for it to come out and last night it did! He came running to the kitchen and told me he was chewing some gum and the tooth came out. The baby tooth was so cute and tiny! My son was so excited because he wanted the tooth fairy to come. Do you remember when your Childs first tooth came out? What did you do with the tooth? I hate to just throw it away.

i dont have kids, but my mummy still has my first tooth in a little silver box, with baby's first tooth on it, and when you open it up theres like velvet lining in the inside with my tooth on it.. i remember always getting £1 when i lost a tooth. my nephew is so spoilt though, as are most kids these days lol, he got £5 the last time he lost a tooth haha! and he's only 8 so he has a lot to go!

Aww, that little tooth box sounds so cute! I wonder where I could find one at? The tooth fairy brought my son $1.00 but it was in quarters. He loves quarters more than anything! I think it is because of those quarter toy machines a t the grocery store!

you can usually get them in little little gift stores, and in card shops? you know that would sell like forever friends, or me to you, teddies and wee christening gifts and stuff.. you must have gift shops like for when someone has a new baby? like new baby gifts? because a lot of new baby gifts are things like babys first tooth, and babys first curl etc! .. see thats sensible, a $1.. we always got £1 .. but my fiancee's sister, giving her son $5?? thats insanity!! shes going to be out a lot of money by the time all his teeth come out haha!

My kids are grown, but I'm a Grandma who sits for my grandson. He's now 8, and he lost his first tooth just after he turned 6. He also was hoping that the whole Tooth Fairy thing was true lol. I made a little stuffed tooth shaped pillow out of felt and put a little deep pocket on the front. Then when he went to bed that night, he stuffed the tooth inside and put it under his pillow. Haha, that made it a whole lot easier for the Tooth Fairy to find; the tooth didn't get lost under the pillow, and the money didn't fall out either...win/win! He doesn't know it, but we did save the very first tooth and put it into a tiny zip-lock that I saved when I got a jewelry chain in it. With it secure in a zip-lock, it made it easy to add into his baby album.

That is also a great idea. I could not find the tiny jewelry bag I was going o use to put the tooth in under his pillow so I put it in an envelope. The tooth was so tiny if I had of stuck it under his pillow it would have gotten lost.
