How can you make a self-created website known? / myLot

How does it work? How do I make so many thousands of people look at my site over? My target group is more likely for people who have money. How can I make the internet advertising? Because someone has experience?

I'm trying to give an answer based on my experience to: The site must work (and not just in IE, but in all major browsers) - there are tests on the net that are free are looking for, need. The site must have content and offer users too (ie no site, redirection, etc.). I wish you good luck, it's work, but also makes it fun!
