Do you return favors?

I'm talking about online favors. Say, you visit my page and I visit yours. Or you comment on my article and I'll comment on yours. I do this with Triond and Redgage. I find it very helpful for me in terms of online earnings when I return the views and comments I get from other writers or bloggers.
It sometimes takes me 3-4 hours just to comment back on all the articles. I don't mind though since I see my account jumping from cent to cent after doing so.
How about you? Do you do the same thing?

I don't really do this since I only answer discussions here on MyLot. My other source of income is through adult blogging, I don't have the time to comment on any articles, I would like to do so but that would eat more of my time. I'm actually balancing answering discussion on MyLot and doing my Job so I guess other extra curricular activities is out of the question.

Yes, I do. But because I'm often so busy on more than one site I usually ask people to ask me if they want the favor returned. On gather I was able to open up a post about a favor that I needed on another site I use called crowdtap. But, at the end of my post I told everyone that if they wanted the favor returned I would need them to leave a link with their comment. That way when I go through to check my comments it's there and I can take care of it right away. I tend to get very forgetful and not realize that I didn't return a favor otherwise. So, I ask people to ask me if they want me to view their stuff in return.

Hi once again dismalgrin! That's nice. However in my case, if you don't have a link I would assume that you're not interested on having the comment or visit returned. That's just how I think hihihi..
I'm a member of Gather, as well but not active at that. I prefer spending time here in Mylot. How's the community there compare to here?Is it also a ood eaning site? I think I only have 1 or 2 posts in that site. Hahahah!

I like mylot and gather pretty much the same these days. Mylot it seems I can earn faster because it's more about how much I participate and on gather it's more about how much others participate with me. Lol. However I still like both of them very much. On gather I get more of an opportunity to talk about things that I can't talk about on mylot. But, again, the earnings tend to be slower. There are also contests on there to enter and win things. But, I like how on mylot I control things a lot more, it's more about how much work I put into it and I an make daily goals that way. In the end I'm happy that I'm active in both.

Umm... question dismal. Can I post links in Gather? I mean do the members do that there? I was hoping to promote my Triond articles there too. What do you think?

Hello sis!
If I got comments from them I will comment back to them but if there is not any I will even place some comments to any article which I find interesting. 3-4 hours seems a lot to me but it indicates that you got more comments from others right??(^^)

I receive several comments, yes . That's why it's eating a lot of my time. It's all the reason why I started this disc CT. I curious how many others do the same with their posts.hihihi...

Yes I have done this a lot of times and find it very helpful. It is a networking gimmick which benefits all who are involved. In Triond for instance, it was the first thing I learned there. So yes I do enjoy doing as you where we help one another.

That's right, HWG. I enjoy doing it too even if they cost me a lot of time. I see my Triond earnings multiply so fast when I do that. So, I'll just continue doing so..hihihi

Well, that's it. Even if it doesn't show on my stats all the time, whether I increased my views or not by returning all the comments, I do it still. It seems like the right thing to do. Of course it's wonderful to see the cents pile up, but even if it doesn't happen all the time, I'd still choose to retun the comments to where comments are due.

Yes, I do that. Though not in a way that will bring me money like what you are doing in Triond. I do that in blogs. I do have a blog, and everytime I receive comments from my blog post/s, I make sure to visit his/her blog too. I browse his/her blog, drop a comment or two, and follow her. Speaking of following blogs, I also do that to my new followers. Whenever I have a new follower, I follow his/her blog too.

No I have not tried this yet.
I post my website links on forums, blogs, classifieds,Social bookmarking sites etc.
I have friends who have their own blogs and websites so we share blogrolls but we dont comment on each others blogs or articles if it is not intresting.

Well it depends on the person doing the favour. If he is my friend, I will definitely return the favour. But if he does not come in that list, I may not return the favour. Further, it also depends on the thing which is being done for me. If it is something that is very important for me, then I will definitely return the favour, otherwise I may not.

Hi there ravi! I appreciate your comment, being you first ever for this Mylot! And welcome welcome welcome!
However, you may not have fully read the favor I was referring to at the beginning of my discussion. All the same, thanks for your comment.
See you around!

i haven't think of that. But I only have mylot, i don't have triond and redgage accounts. I don't know about these websites yet. In mylot, I commented on the responses that were made to my discussions and I responded to discussions, friends or not friends, as long as I am interested in the topics.

Yes, that's the way to earn more here. The more active you are, the more money you make. So that's good, you're doing just fine. As for triond and redgage though, you need to get more views in order to earn more. That's why I'm very patient in returning the comments I recieve. That way, other member would continue to visit me. :)

I try to return every favour as I know that cooperation with other people or friends can be helpful. And more people you know and have contact with more your page or on line business prospers. Yes I know that it's taking some time but it my opinion is worth it. Have a nice day!

That's what I think too. Somehow, someday..it's all worth it. Besides, I feel the need to comment back. It's just the right thing to do. If the comments are from organic traffic, well of course what's the point in that.hehehe

Hi daisy! So are your also a writer in Triond? Do you get more views by doing so? What other sites do you write for?
