I used to get this organic instant porridge that was really good to have in the morning if you were in a hurry, you just had to pour the sachet into a bowl and add boiling water and store - this was a nice healthy fast food.
You could have fruit or a breakfast smoothy. If you wanted a smoothy you could possible chop up fruit and put the milk or juice in the cup with it, keep it in the fridge but beat it up in the morning, you can add some oats, dried fruit and/ or seeds to your smoothy to make if more of a meal. sometimes I might have multigrain toast with hummus and fresh tomato and pepper, or avocado and pepper and lemon on toast.
The other fast thing I can have in the morning is tofu. I buy a packet of marinated tofu steaks and just need to fry this in the morning (in a tiny bit of oil) it only takes 5 or 10 minutes to cook, you could add mushrooms and/ or a tomato cut into a couple or a few pieces.
If I have a bit more time I can make scrambled tofu which I make with plain tofu, garlic, onion or leek and mushrooms. YOu can have this with toast and broccoli if you want, or whatever you feel like.

Thankyou for your lovely comments. Unfortunately I do see that I made a few typos so I hope this didn't make it a little hard to understand. The idea about chopping things up for your smoothy was to do it the night before, but just process it up in the morning.
I have recently started adding chia seeds to my smoothies as this is what Aztec runners used to eat before going on long message runs for a day. If you add them to water (or in your prepared fruit and juice the night before) the seeds turn into a bit of a jell like substance that is nice in the smoothy. I also add wheatgrass and spirulina powders when I feel like it for extra vitamins.

Every once in a while I have Breakfast Burritos. They are relatively easy to make and can be both veg and non-veg depending on the ingredients you put in. Just have a flour tortilla for your shell. Then I use normally scrambled eggs chopped green peppers and onions slightly fried, then smoked ham cooked and sliced wrap it all ion the tortilla and you are good to go.

To be honest with you, I tend to just stick to either a bowl of cereal or a couple of slices of toast for my breakfast. I find that it's quick and easy, and stops me from feeling hungry until just before lunch time. I want to improve my diet soon, so I am considering changing my breakfast to something like a yoghurt and a banana, but I haven't yet decided whether I should do that as bananas don't keep you full for very long so it might mean that I end up snacking during the morning before I have my lunch.
