Does anyone else ever have moments like this for one reason or another?
I did again just this morning. I woke up at around 4:30 a.m. and found myself just unable to go back to sleep. I think I woke up partly due to it storming outside. I was surprised to see it lightning and thundering and just coming a huge storm.
After that I just couldn't fall asleep so I decided to get up. And then the power promptly goes out for the next two hours lol.
Eventually though I did go back to bed and fell asleep for a little while longer before officially getting up for the day.
How about you? Have you had any recent moments you just couldn't sleep for some reason?

Sometimes I have those days. Usually it's when I'm stressing out over something. I'll wake up in the middle of the night and sometimes it takes me hours to get back to sleep or sometimes I don't go back to sleep at all until like 6 or 7 am. I've had a few nights recently where I've woken up in the middle of the night, mostly because I just started work.

yes a lot of times..i have an insomnia and i think you have it too. im easily awaken when i heard bangings and disturbed when lights are turned on(i prefer lights off),then i will be unable to fall asleep again. sometimes when im in bed, i had difficulty in falling asleep which lasted for an hour or more. to manage my insomnia i drink a warm milk, meditate, or listen to soft sounds and avoid catnaps,i tried this and it helps me a lot. do you usually take naps during the day? drink caffeinated beverages before going to sleep or late in the afternoon? think of problems? consumed a heavy meal before retiring?

I do this often so I am used to it. I think that if we wake and can't sleep then our internal clock is saying that we need to be up so I usually get up and try to do something quiet so that I don't wake the rest of the household. I like to do mylot or write an article for one of my article sites when it is early and I can't sleep.

That so rarely happens to me. I don't get to sleep early enough, yeah, but I wake up and can't go back to sleep. hardly ever.

My husband will wake up early and not be able to go back to sleep sometimes. As for myself, its quite the contrary, it takes me a while to get to sleep but I wish I didnt have to get up come morning, I could sleep all day long lol.

This happens to me a lot. For a while I was waking up around 2 in the morning for no reason and I just couldn't get back to sleep. Usually I'll play around on my phone for a bit or go on the computer until I can fall back asleep. Now I wake up in the morning at like 8 and I can't seem to sleep. It doesn't matter how late I go to bed, I still end up waking up at 8. I'll try to get back to sleep and sometimes it works. But most of the time I'll just stay in bed until I feel like getting up to eat.

This doesn't usually happen to me, if I wanted to get some shut eyes, my body reacts right away even if my sleep was interrupted. I don't know if this is my natural metabolism or the effects of the vitamins that I'm taking but it's a good thing that I don't have to struggle with this.

I wake up usually around 3 or 2 in the morning, and I can't get back to sleep, so I usually get up and read until or watch tv etc. 8 or 9, then around 12 i end up taking a really long nap
