Isn't this amazing, that every single time the left puts in place a bad policy that doesn't work, there's always an excuse.
It can't be 'oh wait.. our policies don't work! It's just a bad policy!!'... no no no no...
Instead its "Businesses have no reason to improve the economy."
Right... Like GM is purposefully not trying to sell cars, to purposefully hold the economy back, ... just to... what... Make Obama look bad? Really?
So if you go to a GM lot, they are going to say "Sorry. We've decided to allow the competition to grow by not selling cars this year, in order to make Obama look bad"...
Um.. no.. Every company is out there to grow and expand their business regardless of who is in office.
When an economy isn't recovering, it's normally because the government is trying to cram some bad policies down our throats.
If a company isn't willing to investment in more capital... well first off.... the idiotic left is against capital investment anyway. Remember? Capital comes from... *GASP* PROFIT! The evil "P" word that all leftist are against?
But for companies that make profit, and have capital to invest, the reason they might not, is because they are scared about what screwball policy the government might adopt. Like new capital gains taxes?? Why yes, that would be a reason. File that under 'no duh'. Or unknown cost of health care under the Obama-gov-care system? Why yes, that would also be a reason.
It's real simple. Government is a loose cannon right now, and we have a huge 1.6 Trillion dollar deficit, and no idea on how to fix it. Business is a little on edge, and they should be. The government could go in any direction, and which ever way it goes, will likely cost business tons of money. (unless they simply cut spending... but not many are holding out hope on that)
So when you complain the economy isn't moving, point to bad policy, not some brainless 'business conspiracy' theory.

Although you gave examples of the Left's failures I think that both sides hide their shame with bald face lies and arrogance. The go into political denial on everything they do that doesn't work and pass the blame on to someone else. I mean for God's sake they are still blaming Bush and he has been out of office for years. They have put us what almost 200% further into debt in a quarter of the time Bush was in office and yet it's his fault. The man wasn't our greatest President but he is not to blame for what is happening right now. They invent things now to blame the bad on because no one wants to hear all the old excuses anymore.
