Philippine dragon boat team snub

i heard over the news that the philippine olympic committee does not recognize the philippine dragon boat team. it recognizes another team, the canoe and kayak team. based on the news, its recognition is based on the guidelines by the international olympic committee. well, the least that the POC could have done to the dragon boat team is not to criticize it. worst, POC officials even belittled the achievements of the team.

Congratulations to our Philippine Dragon Team!! Let us be proud to Philippine Dragon Team for bringing home an recognition in our country. And this is a big shame to the POC for not supporting on the team. I guess this is because of some political influences. I am also pissed of on what the POC say on what on the interview that the members of the dragon boat should retired already because some of them is overaged already. Why give some criticism like that some official really in the POC is really unfair. Let's just support them and be proud to them?
