Some claim that hypnotism enhances memory. Others say it distorts facts. It is also said that hypnosis may help to lift amnesia due to overwhelming emotional trauma, the sort a car driver might experience after a collision in which his passengers died. Otherwise, psychologist John brown of Bristol University in England says that there is no reliable evidence that you can remember under hypnosis what you can't remember normally. I have also heard of cases of hypnotic robbery. That anyone can just hand over the money to the robber who hypnotized their victims.

I have never been hypnotized. But I have a friend who was hypnotized that cause her to give her belongings without forcing her to. It was a tremendous and scary experience of her. there was this "Budol-budol" gang who sprout in the city to victimized provincial people. The story was like a friend of mine was walking along the street when a middle-aged lady approached her and ask for a direction to a certain place. My friend refused because she didn't really know where that place is. But then the lady was so persistent. she bluff a story that her wallet was stolen and that she couldn't go home.my friend felt sorry for her that she began talking with her. she didn't realize she was actually giving her 2 cellphones, cash, and atm cards with the password until she went home and realized she had nothing left. That was horrible. sad to know there are people like this.

It is indeed so common. I have of similar cases especially her in the Philippines. We should be warned and needs to be guarded by these because they might take of this advantage of this skill for other more worse reasons.

I never really have to be honest with you or have really had the opportunity of. Or did I? Perhaps I have been hypnotized but I have completely forgotten it. That is really something that you don't want to really think about too much, as it will blow your mind, but it is rather true to say the very intriguing. Granted its intriguing in a scary way, but there you go. Still being hypnotized to rob something, that just sounds like one of those excuses that someone would make to really get out of trouble. Still anything is possible, if I had learned anything its to really expect the unexpected to say the very least. There are a lot of things that people might think impossible at one time, but who really knows. It just makes you think for a few seconds.

Yes, I can understand you and totally agree. Anything there is in this world that some people are strangely realizing can be true and that there is a possibility of these things, otherwise it would rather not be talked about by some. Just l;ike mental telepathy. It sounds impossible but it is possible and I believe there are those who are capable of that.

I hear hypnois can help people lose weight. I really want to try it because I am at my wits end when it comes to my weight! I am morbidly obese and I am sick and tired trying to to get my weight under control! So I will try this! If this doesn't work I am going to have to look into stomach stapling!

I see. Try researching virgin coconut oil. It is good fat that might work for you. It is safe too. There are a lot of foods out there that are fat burning. I have also posted some points that might help if you like. I can understand your sentiments. But don't stress your mind too much on that because stress would be another problem that can lead you to craving for the wrong foods to pacify the stress. I think I have posted something regarding that too. Just in case you fell like. Take care.

I have been hypnotized before. I was commanded to kill the president. Although I got caught 30 yards just away from the president's house. They said I was walking like a zombie with a knife on my hand.

Just kidding. But seriously, I've tackled some hypnosis books and also practiced some applications of it. I think it's effective on many things like eliminating a negative habit, traumas, etc.. It can be relied on.

Oh frontvisions101! You are not kidding me are you? Please don't scare me because maybe you are trying to hypnotized me with that also. Haha. But really? Someone might have tried to use or play with your mind that time.

I've never been hypnotized, I guess? But I have heard of hypnotic robbery in the philippines. I think a friend of min told me a story regarding it, that someone will just talk to you in a mall for example and then suddenly you will give that person money.

Yes, I have heard about it too that it happened here. If that is real then I guess the human mind can be just well manipulated.

I believe I have been hypnotized. But it wasn't a one-on-one thing. The exercise was conducted by a priest-slash-psychologist during a high school class recollection. It was performed to help us tap into that part of our past, that became stuck in our subconscious and that seemed to have affected our lives at the time. It was pretty effective! Anyway, I also saw a former officemate of mine get "hypnotized" over the phone. Mind you, this friend of mine is not the type to get easily swayed by anything and anyone. She is very intelligent, strong-willed, and highly-opinionated. But then, one time, she answered an outside call while seated at her office desk. The caller introduced herself as a balikbayan, and a friend of her U.S. based aunt. She even talked in the same dialect as my officemate. The caller told my friend that she came home with gifts from the aunt, but that she incurred excess baggage from it. Per the caller, the aunt said that the caller can ask my friend to pay for the excess baggage cost first and that the aunt will be the one to reimburse my friend. My friend went to the meeting place ALONE, gave the money (worth P5,000.00) and returned to the office empty-handed. When she came to, my friend said she felt physically drained and as if she had awaken from deep sleep. Scary huh?

Goodness! It is really scary. It is really mind-boggling how these people do that? I wonder if they can do that on text messages. Probably not. I'm also wondering how you felt when you were hypnotized. I am truly scared of the thought thinking that I might not get my normal state back if I am hypnotized. Haha.

I once tried to get hypnotised but, it didn't work on me although I think ti was because of the setting. However I would like to be hypnotised properly if I could afford to see somebody. My husband has been and said he just felt very tired afterwards!

Ah I See! I thought it always works in everyone. I'm still baffled on how they do it although I do believe it.

I've never been hypnotized, but I thing it's real. I think if the person is willing to be hypnotized than he/she can enter into that dream-like state. It's just basically a very relaxed feeling. Spacing out is also like being hypnotized and a lot of us do this in everyday life.
