We devote more than 40 hours a week at work, exercising and training. We likewise spend our time on holidays and after work meeting up associates, clienteles, and social group building up our certified network. I bet some of us even spend time with the social networks like MySpace, Facebook or even Twitter. Now the problem is how much time do we take to acquire how to interconnect with our children, with our family? Do we apply the time taking ways on how to work with children? I am sure many us are sent to courses on lenient skills like problem solving, public relation (frequently paid by the firm we work with). We devote the time to get to know our staff and associates but do we take the time to know our spouse and kids?

Too many priorities too little time. Balance is the secret of setting priorities i guess or time management. Anything that is too much is not good. That's the reason i have a journal and i know multi tasking especially at work. But there's no substitute for quality time. Spending time with my loved ones is my ultimate priority in life.

What matters nearly all in life is dissimilar for each and every one of us. That which is vital for me may not be significant for another. We all have our own distinctive and individual priorities, priorities that classify us for who we are and what we stand for.

I think that our children are doing the same to us. LOL My grandson is on his DS for along time and totally tunes us out. I think a certain amount of time on these sites is fine. It is sad that just afew minutes of quality time is enough for a healthy relationship. I figure the more the better. Bedtime is a nice time to reconnect.

I think dinner time is the best time to connect with our love ones specially our children, we can talk to them afterwards watch tv with them. For us to have some time is not enough what they need is quality time.

I remember on the Waltons the parents demanded that the children were always home for dinner. I think that is very important.
