Vice Ganda has really come a long way in his career. I first saw him at the Singing Bee that’s the show hosted by Cesar Montano . He was a contestant there, and he was so funny there that I thought, why is not given a break. He won week after week and he already made a mark. Now he has his own show. Gandang Gabi Vice. It’s a nice show, it never fails to make me laugh. It’s like going to a comedy bar every weekend. It’s a nice way to end your week. In Showtime it’s a good way to start your day.

I've always been a fan of Vice Ganda. Back then, he was not that famous yet when he was still doing his gigs in punchline but all of the other comedians there respect Vice Ganda simply because he is a genius in comedy, he always has this awesome piece prepared and his rapports are just epic. I think he's one of those once in a lifetime thing that ever happened to Philippine entertainment.

The only other time I have seen "Vice" as a male first name is in Croatia, most notably Croatian singer and politician, Vice Vukov. How does Ganda pronounce his first name? The Croatian singer's name was pronounced Vi-Say.

Thanks! When looking at a name in another language, it may or may not pronounce as it appears in one's own phonetics, whereas in the language of which it's intended, it looks perfectly normal. I'm sure Croatians would be baffled by the "Vice" as in "Vice President." LOL My mother's name is Marianne, but in Danish it's pronounced something like "Maii-Enna."

*LOL* I agree... Vi-Say has a nice ring to it though as opposed to plain Vice. I'm not familiar with the Danish language. But Marianne pronounced as Maii-Enna? It sure sounds complicated. =p I want to learn different languages. I'm currently studying the Japanese's Nihongo. It's confusing and complicated but I'm having fun.

Vice has what it takes to succeed in showbiz because he can sing, he dance and he can make you laugh. He just have a way of dropping his jokes at the right time.

Vice Ganda can sometimes make us laugh. I hope you don't get offended , but i don't really find him that funny. In fact, i find him to be a sarcastic comedienne. He always tend to deliver lines that are hurting and usually it is about a person's physical appearance. Though, i can say that he has a talent in dancing and singing. For me , it's still Ai-ai.

He has come a long way and though he might appear a little sarcastic on his jokes but what I admire is how he gets away from it. I just hope fame will never get into his head for I am rooting for him to stay long in showbiz. He is indeed a very talented artist.

Vice Ganda could be funny but these days I noted fame has reached up to his head. He is not only a snob but also sarcastic. He can't take a statement without making way to sarcasm first. I think he should check his attitude if he wants to retain his popularity.

I can say that Vice Ganda has the talent and good for him that he became successful in his career, he does makes me laugh but sometimes he's also offending... anyway, I'm still watching his Sunday show coz I have fun, seeing the funny sides of his guests too... With regards to Showtime, I am also watching it, its great watching new talents on tv and I love Jhong Hilario! haha

I never was a fan of Vice Ganda and I believe I never will be.I must admit though that some of his antics and his sarcasm makes me laugh at times. I agree with salonga. He can cross anyone but he gets irritated when someone crosses him. I hope he gets back on his feet fast because he's starting to become an airhead. Not good.
