What to eat when you are underweight. I’m been an underweight all my life, short of 5 to 7 pounds off my ideal weight. Now that I’ve resigned from work I thought I’d gain some weight, I just gained 2 pounds for a period of 3 months. They say my metabolism is fast, because I do eat a lot, but I’m not gaining weight. Now that I have no work I always hungry so I always eat all the time, and sleep a lot. Help me, what should I do to increase my weight.

i have the same problem. i just keep on eating when i am hungry and when i have so much appetite to eat. i have always tried to search for a solution but never got one. i think gaining weight is more difficult than losing weight.

I agree with ybong. Muscle weighs more so you have to build more muscle to gain the pounds you want. Do it with supervision (trainer or friend who body-builds) so you don't injure yourself. Good luck!

My husband has been 130 pounds since he was 18 years old, and he's now 65. No matter what he eats, he just doesn't gain weight!! His metabolism is very high, and he's pretty healthy. He can eat all he wants, and he still won't gain weight!

Try going to a gym and lift some weights. It will help you build muscle and your trainer will guide you through a diet plan so you can achieve the weight you aim for and the curves other long for.
