music from a friend

the other day one of my mylot friends sent me some music by a group called "Apocalyptica" well i listen to it all the time now cuz it's new to me, you know. so she said that she likes Rammstein too. and I was thinking, what do I own that might sound similar to these 2 groups?
Well, I'm going to send here some songs by a group called "Prong", i think they kind of fall into the same category as rammstein and apocalyptica. heavy metal.
have you ever heard of PRONG? how bout the other 2?

I've never heard of any of these band. Of course, I don't listen to heavy metal. It gives me a headache. Nothing worse then someone screaming into a microphone and calling it music. Best Wishes!

No thanks. Nice try. You however will not get me to listen to heavy metal music. I've heard it in the past and I'm positive it isn't any different now. Except the language is worse. Best Wishes!

go get'em anna.or Ana, I'm not sure which...
do you like female vocalists?...if you do try Tsunami Bomb. they are one of the few relatively new bands that I listen to...It's a punk-meets-metal-meets girl power....and it's pretty cool...I found it by this little girl friend of mine a couple years back...they have you tube videos too but I cant tell you if any of those are good, I haven't watched any.

i've heard of them but i'm not a massive fan.
however, on similar lines, but not exactly the same, i love nightwish.. have you ever heard of them?
listen to on youtube, or download, nightwish - nemo.. amazing song

Yes,I heard about all these groups and listened to some of their music,especially to Rammstein which is very popular although they sing most of their songs in German,which is quite an achievement.I think there are big stylistic differences between these groups,although Rammstein and Prong have some resemblances because they contain elements of industrial metal,while Apocalyptica is truly unique in the way they use classical instruments to create a heavy sound.Anyway,all these three groups are great and deserve to be listened very carefully.
