I had a bad day with my work, sometimes It's just hard to do some procedures and I felt that I'm doing my best but it's not enough. I don't know what's wrong but I'm really trying hard. Do you get what I feel? (sigh…) am I too serious? I just wish everything is alright after duty, isn't it good to feel when everything is fine after work, when there's no mistake done? Maybe I just need to relax.

I have not worked at a job aside from internet earnings for almost a year now. I have a very unsteady emotional issues and though I could keep it together for while I was at work I would cry all the way to my boyfriends house after and when I got there I would just cry the whole time. The job only lasted two days because it was through a temp agency, but it was so stressful for me to deal with the rush of everything. Every time the phone rang I'd tighten up and worry about who it would be for and if I'd be sent running to find the person or what to do if they didn't pick up their extension or if they were out of the building. I couldn't remember people's names and they all thought that a once through should be enough. They thought I should be a pro just walking in off the street when I'd never done that type of work before. Not to mention that I just get stressed easily. I hope that when I finish school it won't be that bad. If it is then at least I'm getting a degree in something that I could set up a business from home if I needed to with it.

Well actually I started on my online earning journey back in 2009. Because I was trying to supplement my disability income. But, with family trying to act like I was a low life and laughing because of my meager online earnings I forced myself back into the workforce. And it backfired on me. Now I'm doing what I was doing before, but I'm also going to school for a position that I hope will allow me to re-enter the workforce.

It is inspiring, your story... I too started earning online when I was still in the philippines but It didn't successfully workout much. So, I decided to go abroad and have a regular work with salary. Still I want to continue online earning while working.

I agree that you need to be able to separate your work from your personal life. Don't let what happens at work make you feel bad at home. BUT... especially the way things are now, be grateful that you have a job and that you're bringing in money. Some people don't have that. Even if you're stressed at work, and can't seem to do what you want to, or what is required of you, you're still working and making money.

Whenever I have a bad day at work, I don't go to work the nest day. I know it sounds immature but this is how I de-stress. My body and well-being is far more important than my job so my health is my first priority.

Whenever I have a bad day at work, or a bad hour, or things are just going wrong, I stand up, take a 15 minute break to smoke and drink coffee. I either go alone, or take someone with me. When I'm with someone, I rant rant rant it out of my system. Sometimes all we need is to let it all out. When you clog your brain with all sorts of things, sometimes your brain just needs to be able to deal with it in a way that allows it to be unloaded. So when you talk it over with a friend or a colleague, you find out that sometimes you're able to get over it quickly, and you'll be able to think of other ways to fix the problems that you're getting at work.

yes of course. it's normal that we sometimes feel bad at work. When I feel like that I just condition my mind that this will just pass through. And solve problems that are need to be resolved right immediately so it won't create a bigger problem in the future.

What do you do? If you don't mind.
I used to have a bad day at work too.. I feel bad when my boss is around and I have nothing to do. I kinda hate when those times come. Hehehehe..
In your case, I should say that you must leave the problems in your job at your office and don't bring it at home. I mean, when you go home, don't think too much about it because it can ruin your mood and perhaps the mood of the people around you also.

Hi vycess!
I do experience bad days, too at work. When nothing seems to go my way. It's really annoying and depressing at times. When I get days like that, I can't do anything and I even take my bad mood at home. So when I'm at home, I just stay inside my room and surf the net until the bad feeling goes away. Sometimes, when I eat dinner the bad mood goes away. Or when I play with our dog or talk with my little niece and nephew. The bad feeling goes away. But if I'm still at work, it will not go away.

Sometimes it's hard to get over a bad day at work. Especially when you feel like you've screwed up somewhere, it seems the whole day goes wrong. I've had that happen to me before, and it's hard to pick back up after you've felt you've messed up or after you have messed up. It's much better to just try to relax though. Recently I felt like I messed up but I just said to myself "self, you're being stupid, just relax you're doing fine."
And though it took a lot I did.
I hope you were able to relax, I feel like that'd be the best thing for you. After work take a nice long soak in the tub and watch a good and funny movie.

Yep, sometimes I have felt very stressed from work or bosses so forced myself to do exercise. Swimming or walking up a hill.
If I swim a couple of times, I will usually feel happier and cope with things better. Hill walking is also good as it is quite hard if you are unfit and you are forced to work hard to do it, even at a slow pace. Otherwise a walk on the beach can be nice if you have one near you, or any nice walking paths.
Exercise helps balance my work stress. Also a hobby you really enjoy can help, if you really enjoy it you wil focus on it and forget your work stress.

Hi Vycess, everyone had a bad day at work but the most important thing is that try to look at the situation where you can improve further. Is there anything distracting you lately or your emotion is unstable or you have something bordering you?
Try to put aside those thing bordering you and focus on your work. You should be able to do it well. Wish you have happy working day!

Believe me. Bad or good condition is an internal factor. Not external factor. Yes. That is an imagine power. So, before you do anything or in preparation, start with imagine nice condition. for example, imagine you are swimming in pool or beach or something that enjoy. So, everyday will be a happy days.

If you are having a bad day when you are at work. Then you should take a short break and calm down.Because it is so normal. And then you can turn your work.Otherwise you may get bored.
As you know people always complain about their work because they are not satisfied with their jobs, their salaries or their friends. The reason why they are unhappy with their work is that they always want to get more than they have.So people always have the competition. That's why it sometimes makes people feel angry, nervous and upset.
Some are jealous of the others. You know if the one is promoted,it makes the others feel nervous.Because they think that why they couldn't be promoted.Whereas it is only one person who has been promoted. not more.So it is imposibble to promote anyone. But all people think like that. They gather and discuss about it.I mean you should know how to calm yourself down. And then you will feel better...

Sometimes you need to talk about all these with your seniors or other better people in your place to get some better perspective and some advice. you may feel lot better. Everyone gets a bad day once in a while. When I have a bad day, I ponder to find out what I could have done to avoid the mishap, then try to improve.
