Have you ever become addicted to an online game ?

Yes! During my high school days I am really addicted to the online game, Ragnarok. We usually cut classes during those time. My friends and I will do over nights in the computer shops just to play the game together. I even recall that we never attended our school field trip back then just to play Ragnarok for a straight day. I also got addicted to Mafia Wars in Facebook and Restaurant City. I will even disturb my friends in Facebook so that they will give me the items that I need in Mafia wars and support me with energy packs. Well, that was back then. Now, I don't play much online games anymore. I think I have matured with playing those kind of games now.

For a very short period of time I was very addicted to Mafia wars. But I am not really so much into online games. I do however like to play multiplayer games online like Counter Strike. There was a time when I played it almost all the time.

I was addicted to MMORPG once, I think I played MU then and Granado Espada. Both of these games are from Korea and they really have great graphics. Sooner or later, I realize I was just wasting money and time from these games so I stopped and focused more on making money online.

i got addicted to battlefield heores i really played non stop for so long i don't play now it was fun as well and i am also addicted to mylot a lot happy mylotting everyone

well its not me that become addicted to online games, its my boyfried..he plays different online games,lan games,offline games..he just cant stop playing.

Yes I do.. have you ever tried YOVILLE? gosh I love that game.. and I actually spend lots of my time and even money with it... I really really love that game but zynga banned me for I did something illegal... uurrgghh purchasing coins to other character.. because the coins in zynga are WAY TOO expensive :( and know I couldnt play it forever..I miss it so much :( and I just dont wanna start over again..because I wanna use my main account and I know its not a good habit to spend real cash on virtual world... urrgghh

I been addicted to Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) and other facebook games online. But I was able to overcome it. Back then, I cannot stop playing games. Once I started, my body keep on and I cannot stop the urges. I can even play up to 16 hours in a day when I don't have class.My life has been all about online games and I think that was the worst part of my life. My grades were almost failing that my parents were so mad at me. Right now, I am still playing games but up to 2 hours maximum. I see to it that what I am doing in the internet is useful and productive. No nonsense.

Since i was a kid i never got addicted to any kind of games, not even with nintendo before. I got hooked to farmtown and farmville two years ago but that's it. I'm done and over with it and never even visited for ages. I think i'm the kind of person who's just not addicted to games even though i enjoy them a lot. I have my smurfs ville now in my ipad but i only check them once in awhile.

Yes, many years ago I was addicted to the game called blocks. You've three balls and you let one ball bounce on your small piece which you can move back and forth whilst it bounce on bricks which disappears after you've hit them. I did compete with myself. Now a days I do not play that much only occasionally.

well, nowadays i don;t play games anymore... i mean, i play sometimes but when i've got nothing else to do and feels like boredom is eating me. but before, i used to play RAN online, i just couldn't do anything else other than playing that game. i most of the time don't eat my meals anymore because i just couldn' leave my character while she's leveling up. but those days are gone now.

yeah i have.. online browser game and i have been playing it like over five years now and even up to now.. i play ikariam, its a war sims game wherein you build your towns and be a diplomat or a war freak player which i was before, but due to more time i have to spend on because of ongoing wars, i mean, have to defend and attack, move resources and all.. i was force to change my personality from a war freak player to a diplomat one... well! like i said.. i still play the game though not much really active, all i do know is build and build my towns... but sometimes war breaks out and i become really active again... i sometimes woke up at 2am or 3am to check on my battle status.. the game is really addictive for me especially during war times..

I also was addicted with Farmville. I opened every single day, once every 12 hours. So I can, harvested, plowed, and planted again xD. Once, I also ever got addicted with Travian. It is a browser-based game. The game is about building a village and also defending it from another village's attack. So, in order to give a best defense, I logged in once every hour. And when I was outside, I logged in from my cellphone! What an addictive! XD Luckily I am not addicted in any games now. Only my strong will that help me to do so, haha. But, I guess I am getting addicted with mylot now, haha..

I can't say that's happened to me. Due to my need for a screen reader, I can't play games very much online. So lucky enough perhaps I've never known myself to get adicted to any type of game. It's just not me. I'll admit coming close, but when something's new it's human nature to get that "i-can't-get-enough" syndrom. So don't feel too bad about your addiction. Just be glad that you're not addicted anymore because addiction (of any kind) isn't healthy.

Yes I have. To the game called Mafia Wars and that was on facebook. too. I was so crazy, stayed up all night fighting and asking for energy packs. And used to be on facebbok 24/7, which also messed up my time table and I was usually sleeping in school. Gosh it was horrible. I am glad I stopped playing it thpugh. And I know the farmville craze. My friends keep sending me request to be their neighbors or buy their cows or whatever. They sent me so many notifications that I ended up blocking farmville from my facebook.

not an online gamne, but a computer game yeah. i used to be addicted to lemmings for the pc, then harry potter, then duke nukem and the prince of persia haha.. i've a really addictive personality and when i start playing something.. i can't stop.. and i'll rush home etc to play it and will sit up for hours and hours trying to get past levels.. it's terrible lol!

If I find a new and exciting online game, I would play it like there was no tomorrow. I tend to play rpg games online but they tend not to last very long. I would play it for a while, probably the holidays and then eventually get bored. Then I would move on to another game. It's like an endless cycle, I get over a particular game and then I'll find a new one to replace it.
