I just started cardio on Daily basis 2 weeks ago , I am doing 50 mins / day at a moderate resistance on an elliptical .
Can I expect to see any results soon ?

Losing weight requires patience. You can see effective results if you also have a proper diet. I would recommend you to do some weight lifting. Muscles eat calories and it could tone your body. You don't have to look like a body builder, but you have to life lower weights at higher repetitions.

It depends on if you are over weight or not. If you are overweight and are doing the exercise at a moderate level you wouldn't see the result instantly. But if you were already in a reasonable shape you should see it.
Good luck I wish I could get my lazy but up and do something.

That's a good work out and 50 minutes is a long time for exercise , I think just go your weight scale and see if there's a loss of weight , Me I usually do treadmill in moderate also for 30- 35 minutes in the morning then in afternoon about 5 o clock I do another treadmill for 35 minutes which makes me very good after a days exercise. This helps me reduce my High per tensions or High blood. I always have dizziniess and head ache but when I do twice daily of treadmill it overcomes my fear of dying. I lost a bit of pounds but feels good.
