How do you get PTC referrals?

Hello friends. I want us to discuss our best method to get referrals in PTC sites. I have tried many methods and this is my results:
1. Cheap advertising on Aurora sites: not much luck
2. Surf exchange site (EasyHits4U): bad result
3. PTC blogging: about 1 or 2 referrals, need more efforts to get traffics to my blog
4. Forum and email signature: only 1 referral in 2 months
5. Forum of PTC clickers: good results using referral cashbacks method
So the last method works for me best. Though it costs me some investments (paying cashbacks), but I get some active referrals.
What about you? Care to share your success stories in getting many (and most important; active) referrals?

You created a good topic, that is a good question, I don't have any referral in any place, so what the others take one month I think for me is gonna take three months, I have send to my friends invitations but nobody have accepted. So you say that you payed to your friends in order they sign up in one of your sites? wow, I you get your money back.

Thanks for sharing your method. But I have a question regarding this: how many of those referrals which you get from minuteworkers are active?
