I think not, unless you are about him and several scenes of character / explain social. e.g. that the friendship between Tom and Jerry or tolerate much that there are jokes that do not hurt as games. That there is also room for schadenfreude, as long as it is not malicious etc.etc. Have fun

I don't think so. During my childhood, I used to watch Tom and Jerry religiously everyday. But I was one of the shyest kid. Even now I am not violent. There were several of other kids around me who enjoyed the cartoon show. But they never behaved like Tom. I suppose it has a lot to do with the fact that we are programmed to believe that animals are wild and they behave in wild way. The most violent ones are those that have human characters. They can definitely influence kids to believe that humans must always fight.

I think Tom and Jerry sometimes really quite hard. But generally I do not think that it somehow harms. Finally "happened" the two never really something. Maybe you should give your four year old but still a bit before explaining what this regard, the example that he not allowed to do with a cat.

I will say it is dependent on your boys level of maturity honestly. Technically the show is rated TV MA but my boys watch the show everyday as well as their cousin Alex, who is 3. So I would say if he is somewhat mature for his age then of course he can watch or at least watch with him when he does watch.
