Have you guys already tried the Tower Burger from KFC? I just had one yesterday and unfortunately I am not satisfied with it. It is chicken fillet, lettuce, hash brown and dressing in between the buns. I didn’t like the idea of having the hash brown included on the sandwich, the dressing is kinda blunt for me, seems like it lacks tastes of some sort. But I think the price is just okay. If you get it on a Fully Loaded meal, it’ll cost you 185 pesos and you’ll get the Tower Burger, 1pc Chicken, 1 Regular Fixin’ and 1 Regular Drink.
On the other note, Mc Donald’s patties are getting thinner and thinner LOL, Burger King and Wendy’s uhmm still okay. I haven’t tasted Wham Burgers yet, I’ve seen they’ve got a branch in Mall of Asia. Jollibee? well always suits Pinoy taste so I still go and buy one from time to time though they’re small. LOL. I don’t know where else can we find good tasting burgers in town, do you?

Haven't try KFCs new offer. I'd rather eat at Wham's, BBB, Hotshots or similar deli burger stores since they offer bigger and quality burgers compared to the fast food types. Real beef, charbroiled (healthier), fully packed with veggies, onions, etc. in just a few amount.
But sometimes I'd prefer cooking my own burger. It is much cheaper and you can customize the contents the way you want it.
Eating at a fastfood will cost you 100-250 today which you can cook and prepare 3-4 burgers with the same cost.

Thank you for the response ryudo... I definitely agree with you that making your own burger at home has a lot more satisfaction than buying them on fast foods. My sister and boyfriend is superb when it comes to making homemade beef patties and choosing the veggies and dressing you want to go with it is easier.. Yeah, real beef is still the best, sometimes, fast food are using extenders, you know cost cutting.

What I meant with full meal is that Wham burgers is really big enough to keep you full. Their patties are really thick and can taste the roast. I can't even eat the whole burger in one sitting...Try it out. It is far better than Mcdo or Jollibbee. If you are working out and on a protein diet, that Wham is really wow.

I am really planning to go and eat at Wham to try their burgers... Really, it's a full meal? If it is, it's really a good value for your money, right?

Hmmmmm Burger Avenue... I think there's a branch in Makati, am I right? I've heard they're good but I haven't tried them yet. I will definitely try them like what you've suggested and get back to you about their burgers. Nice decision, don't dig in for hash brown in between the buns...

I wanted to try that a few days ago but I got the rice bowl instead and regretted it. KFC is my favorite fastfood chain among others in our city, since there aren't much to be choosing from here anyway. I like their fries and mushroom soup plus Krushers. Just thinking of it makes me hungry right now.

I also like KFC fries and Krushers. You can try the Tower Burger, like what I've said, it doesn't really tastes good for me. It is just buns, chicken fillet, lettuce, mayo dressing and has brown. Not that much to dig in for.

this discussion makes me hungry! i have not eaten yet the tower burger at KFC, i just dont have the time and money yet but then i dont like hash browns ever since so i think i wont try it. I eat at mcdo and jollibee when i am very hungry and these fast food joints are the last resort for me so i can hardly notice the size of their patties or dressings.

I still like McDo's burger but I really noticed that their patties became smaller that before. Most of the people here commented that they recommend Brother's Burger, I have tasted that and I agree that their burgers are to die for. I suggest, if you have time, go grab one at brothers burgers. I don't know if you can find one near your location but you can check out their website, brothersburger.com.ph

Ugh~ I definitely know what you mean but I still like KFC's original chicken. Their double decker (is that what's it called?) failed in my opinion. I mean, I can just order extra rice and I can have my dinner reserved XD Too much oil for me. I was surprised when they created Tower Burger. I really thought it was just a huge sandwich with double chicken patty or something so when I saw "hash brown" in their description, I went "WHAT?!" but in all fairness, I like their hash brown... LOL!
Good tasting burgers? I love Carl's Burger so I was sad when I don't see much franchise around now-a-days :( Have you tried Brother's Burger and American Navy? They're worth a try :D
Oh, I prefer McDo over Jollibee anytime XD

LOL you also don't like the hash brown inside the burger right, it's kinda weird why they have do create such kind of a burger. And it is not even a tower for me, it is still small you know. Lots of people here said that Brothers Burger is the best... I haven't tried American Navy, do you know where I could get one, I do wanna give it a try...

For the KFC's Tower Burger, same as your comment it is kind of blunt since it is just mayo for the dressing, I think if they added some mustard or some spices on it I think it will be ok. I still vote for their previous burger, Double Down for the flavor I wish they will put it as their regular sandwich.
For Mc Donalds, I think their burger is not worth it anymore since it is now more than Php 20.00 and the patties isn't that great anymore. Also for Jollibee, I am not a fan of sweet dressings so I might pass on that. Burger King and Wendy's are good, but their burger is kinda pricey. Might as well buy for Wham or Brothers Burger for a real one

I agree that KFC should add something to the mayo to create a taste that will blend into the the rest of the ingredient of the sandwich. I do believe that the quality of the dressing should be put into consideration as somehow it boost up the taste of the burger. Yeah, I also know someone who's not a fan of the sweet dressing on Jollibee's burgers, and oh, thanks for reminding me about the Brother's Burger, I love it.

I haven't tried the Tower Burger yet and I think it is too much for me but maybe i'll give it a go one time if I had the chance to drop by KFC and will tell you my assessment of it.
On the other hand Mcdo burgers doesn't impress me that much, especially the regular one. If I had to eat burgers there I would go for quarter pounder or their other bigger burgers. I only admire their french fries when I go to Mcdo and they do not have much variety in their menu not unlike their tough competitor, Jollibee. And another thing I grew up with Jollibee so if I would choose between the two most popular fastfoods in the Philippines, I'd definitely go for the Bee. And I so love their hotdog meal the one on the buns/bread.
But if you are looking for the best burgers in town, I suggest Brothers Burgers. It's not cheap but their burgers are really to-die-for. One of their branch is located in Pampanga in Marquee Mall so it's convenient for us to go there if we want to munch in and enjoy some amazing burgers. I just don't know about their other branches though.
So goodluck finding those delicious burgers. We have lots here in our place, you just have to roam around to find them.

Oh wow, I am now envious that you are in a place where you are surrounded with delicious burgers, I would really roam around to taste 'em all LOL. I have tried Brother's burger and I love them, I agree their burgers are really to die for. And lots of the people who commented here suggested that Brother's Burger are really delicious! And oh, we're on the same boat, I grew up loving that big read bee, so really I will still buy their burger from time to time, jolly hotdog is also good!

Me and my daughter had our lunch at KFC yesterday and I can say that it's really disappointing how the serving goes that way.
The chicken are too small compared with McDo and Wendys is fine with me.
It's not practical eating with fastfood chains nowadays as their servings becomes smaller and the price getting higher (duh)
have a great weekend

I haven't really tried it. But back in Dubai i used to order Burger King's Mushroom Swiss Burger 2xl. It's really so tasty. I love Jollibee as well but their burger is getting smaller and smaller. Have you tried Hardees? I like their burger as well.

I haven't tried Hardess... Well actually this is the first time I've heard about it. Do they serve grilled type patties, tasty dressing and fresh veggies in between the buns? Do you happen to know the place or branch where I could buy and taste their burgers?

Well, I love the tower burguer, but I haven't eaten for a while, so I don't know if it's still good or not
In my case, I love the idea of the hash brown included inside the burguer. I think it goes really well with the chicken, and in the past this used to be my favourite burguer in KFC. Now I'm craving for one

We're opposite on this one madteaparty... i don't like the idea of hash brown inside the burger. I can eat Chicken and Hash brown together, but not in between the buns.

I always have an issue regarding fast food, not just KFC. They introduce some new meal and I dig for it. After some time, the meal serving got smaller. I remember ordering the Supreme Bowl (the Kung Pao variant) from KFC and I was happy when I first tasted it. When I ordered the same meal some time after, it was lacking in rice. I had to order extra rice becuase the the chicken was way too big for a portion.
Regarding the tower burger, I don't think I will try it. The shah brown kinda puts me me off. I never associate potatoes with burgers and if I do, I would like it to be the mashed variant. However, I am willing to be that the price will be higher and the portion size will be smaller after the initial introduction of the meal. Besides, I don't like super-sized burgers since they force me to cut the burger into smaller portions just to eat it.
I love burgers since I can always substitute them for rice meals and I have to agree that McDonald's (in my opinion) is slipping in the burger department. Sometimes, I just want to buy at the buy one, take one burger if the situation get too much. At least, there are varieties in burger. Would love to try Wendy's, we don't have it in our place.

I'm a Burger King Whooper fan, I've tasted so many burgers from different burger joints and I always come back to how great tasting the whooper is. I've never liked the bugers from Wham, Jollibee or McDo but there is this one joint where the burgers are good as well. The name of the joint is Brother's Burger, you should try it.

I love Burger King Whopper too but some say that it's also getting small. As for the Brother's Burger, I love it as well, their grilled patties are juicy and tasty...

Hi, my_january. I have never tried the Tower Burger from KFC before. Do you mean to tell me that you can get a Tower Burger and the other items as as a complete meal for $1.85??? Is this the price in U.S dollars? If so, wow, this is one great deal. I think that I need to pay KFC a visit soon where I live at.

You seem to be a burger lover and fond of going from one burger house to another! Tower burger I have not tasted too but with hash brown inside a sandwich together with the chicken fillet and the dressing I can't enjoy it either. I like hash brown by itself and would not love its taste be mixed with sandwich. Actually to me one very good tasting burger I've ever had is the mushroom burger in Tagaytay. But I can't always go to Tagaytay so I just make my own homemade mushroom burger and they are also just as great. My healthy and tasty homemade burger is better than all the burgers offered by KFC, McDo, Jolibee, Wendy's or whatever.
