Can our SMART-GILAS team win the 2011 FIBA-ASIA Championsip for this team to qualify in the 2012 London Olympics basketball ?

Our team has a chance. But it's quite a slim chance because there are now plenty of power house team in asia. Before, our rival is only China and Korea. Today, the middle eastern teams are even better. Iran and Jordan.

I think it all comes down on how accurate the SMART-GILAS team shoots from the perimeter especially the three point line, if we have a super sharp percentage from the perimeter then the SMART-GILAS team has a big chance of qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics basketball.

Only time can tell, but I have confidence on our National Philippine Basketball team. We are indeed one of the best teams in Asia, therefore it is indeed possible.

I have a high confidence that our SMART-GILAS team can qualify for the 2012 London Olympic basketball, because they recently beat team Iran this last 33rd jones cup although they just placed 3rd in this said tournament.

I have watch them on TV when they play the NBA players.. And during that game, I have observe that the team does have a lot of good players and they can really compete even with the best basketball players in the world. So I think they can really make the Olympics.
