A friend sent me an e-mail about keeping safe while driving. According to the tips, never turn the wiper on when someone smashes eggs on the windshield. That will make the vision all murky and the driver will be forced to stop. And that's a chance for the crooks to attack.
Just spreading the tip.

This is a wake up call or somekind of a reminder. Just imagine if you get this while driving in a highway - would suck BIG time.

Is this another tactic from the criminals and carnappers nowadays? It really is scary to be on the streets driving a car nowadays due to the rampant news about such criminal activities. Thanks for that advice. It surely pays to be knowledgeable in the most recent criminal tactics nowadays to protect yourself form them.

I definitely can't say that I've ever had smashed egg on the windshield of my car, so that is something that I wouldn't have known had you not shared the information. With that said, I don't like to turn my windshield wipers on at all unless it is rain that is falling from the sky because I find that things like bug guts, etc. just make a bigger mess when you try to use the windshield wipers to clean it off.

Thanks for the tip! I have never heard of anyone doing this, but you never know. Your first instinct would be to turn on the wipers, but it would make things worse!

I didn't know about that. Nobody would smash eggs on windshield for nothing, and definitely not in singapore. IF crooks were to attack in such a way, they might as well stay home because they are gutless. BEing a crook should be more daring, be fierce. That's what my brother and bf taught me, read the minds of crooks, their operation modus.

I have never heard crooks smashing eggs on windshields! What will then think of next! That is horrible and can be so dangerous! I have heard of people egging houses, like as pranks on Halloween, but never on windshields until now! That is crazy!

When they want to do bad job they always got tricky bad things to do it. I got several emails from friend they said that there are bad guys who spread nails on the road and when they tire flatten they pretend to give some help but instead giving help they will rob and attack you and some other stealing tactics. I would say that to those female drivers we should more careful when things like this happen and beware to surroundings as they are many people can't be trusted.(^^)

There was a same short message which spread around our mobile phones at my place, Malaysia too.
This message is good to alert most of the drivers to be more caution when they are driving.
If the incident really happens, the driver can respond and handle it well.
But I hope we should not simply send and pass this type of fake message around to scare and to upset most of the people.

yes keep on driving until you are out of the "kill zone" the same principle applies even in a deadly situation like an ambush, keep on driving till you are out of the kill zone.
