I am speculating that I am pregnant. I suddenly love smelling my boyfriend regardless whether he just had a shower or whether his perspiring. I have a weird feeling below my tummy and I suddenly feel so sleepy the whole day. Am I pregnant? What are the early signs of pregnancy and when is the best time for me to consult a doctor or buying a pregnancy kit? I do not want to announce anything unless I am pretty sure about it.

Most of times early signs of pregnancy are eating habits changes, your smell works 100% more then it used too (meaning if you were in your upstairs bedroom and the kitchen trash can was down stair being stink, your nose can pick up the smell that in seconds), feel like throwing up/ just have mood swings, foods that you swear you never eat but love it now!
Sometimes it could be you body way of growing...
or if you debate on if your pregnant and you ending up dwelling on it you may feel like your pregnant.
It's best just to check out with your doctor for early results or either way buying it would be good too...
I recently gave birth 2 my second child, but my fifth pregnancy and my pregnancy was ups and downs, meaning I had so many syptoms I couldn't really keep track of how I was feeling. Well any ways. With my boy I didn't check until i was 3 month prego.
My early syptoms were:
- I could smell really good.
- My stomach was always sore. (Not Cramps... Like I was giving Birth)
- I was throwing up morning/day/night...
- Any had a story to tell that had throw up or throwing up -- I had to throw up.
- I was always sick.
- I had mood swings... (I get mad over the smallest things)
- My stomach was getting bigger each week.
- My eating habits changed to eating junk food to eating healthy, meaning I used to love eating cheese burges with faty foods and chips and candy) suddenly I was eating fruits and veggies...
and more...
There are so many things that can be early signs of pregnancy. If you thing you are be all means go to the doctors. It's best just to find out then buying a pregnancy test cuz you'll be wasting your money.
I hope I could help... If you do need more help on finding out more information I would gladly help you out!

If you haven't had your period in a while, that's one good sign. Go get a pregnancy test, and see what it says. Then go to your doctor, and get tested again to double check.

My dear if your menstrual period is regular and you suddenly experience delay even for just a day or two then you experience craving and then sometimes dislike or like for odor or food which is not normal to you, or sometimes vomiting in the morning then you should watch out for you could be already a month pregnant. You can actually know if you are pregnant indeed by undergoing a blood pregnancy test. That is the most accurate. You can do it even when you are a day delay and the result will surely be accurate. The pregnancy test and urine test could fail but not the blood pregnancy test. I don't use pregnancy test because it is not always reliable.

It would be best to buy a pregnancy test kit immediately as this is more accurate. Having a baby is a good thing whether it is unplanned or not and a pregnancy kit is the best way to determine if you're having one. Who knows, these signs might just be hormones. It happened to my wife once and we realy thought she was pregnant but the pregnancy test showed otherwise.

wow that's good news! of course it has to be positive. hehe
i think i read from the internet that there are actually a lot of signs for you to tell that you are pregnant. you may also even have the same as when you are having your monthly period.. but first would always be that you missed your period. did you?

The first sign of pregnancy can be a missed period. The early signs of pregnancy can be sore boobs and a weird feeling in the tummy. It can be feeling sleepy, wanting the bathroom lots more often that normal and have a much enhanced ability in smelling. I had a metal like taste in my mouth in pregnancy.
A lady can take a home pregnancy test when she has missed her period. If the test is negative and her period doesn't arrive then 5 days later she could take another test. If you are pregnant you could tell your doctor in order to arrange care in your pregnancy. I hope that you get the result that you want. Good luck.

There are a lot of things that can indicate that you're pregnant. You really find that your body will do things differently. You might start eating more, you might feel more tired than is usual for you, you might feel more nauseous, just to give you a few examples. I think that, if you are wondering, and just want to be sure, I don't think that it's a bad idea to talk to your doctor, or to get a home pregnancy kit. It can't hurt to just find out. At least, you can then know for sure.

Nobody is going to be able to tell you whether you're pregnant or not. The best thing for you to do is buy a test from a supermarket and just take it. There are tests that you can take within a couple of days of falling pregnant now, so you should be alright with getting an accurate result from it. If you get a positive result you should remember that it's unlikely for you to get false positives; but possible to get false negatives. You should go to your doctor for confirmation for the result. I wouldn't advise that you told everyone about your pregnancy until you're at least 12 weeks pregnant as it will be easier this way incase something should go wrong. After the 12 weeks, most pregnancies go to plan, so it much safer to tell your friends and family about your baby.

If you have a regular period, then missing your period is one solid thing that will denote if you're pregnant. Mood swings and such can be deceiving since it patterns just the same when we are having our menstrual period.
Mood swings can also be caused of hormonal imbalance. So the best is to wait before you buy a home pregnancy kit. For example your period should arrive this month of Aug.13, wait for one week and if it does not come, then go buy a HPT (home pregnancy test) kit and use only morning urine for proven result as you follow the instruction.

Very first sign is when you missed your period,or if it delayed for a week and having morning sickness.
Some women doesn't feel or experience the morning sickness in early stage.
But the first sign is missed period of delayed.
Your behavioural changes like this one you wrote above somehow can be considered one of those signs.
If you missed your period for a moth, better consult your doctor for your baby's welfare and for your health also so that you will be given vitamins, proper care and guidance esp for first time mother/s.
have a great weekend

Best is to purchase a pregnancy test at the pharmacy. I think you can take the test at home when you have missed your date for having your period of 10 days to be sure of the testresult. Signs of pregnancy can be that you are more sensitive for smells. You can feel that your belly is swollen. Your nipples are more sensitive, than usual. You can feel morning sickness. It's very individual.
