I'm working in a hotel industry and I'm already 3 years in that kind of job, I've been in food and beverage department and finance and now I'm training in IT, I love the work of being an IT because it was my course when in college, the fact that you will work everyday with the same people in the company make me think if I'll push it trough or find a better company..
I'm having a hard time making decisions,Because people in this company always complain that their salary is too low compare to other and its indicated on the contract labor that you are not allowed to leave the establishment if your service is still needed but you are not allowed to file a overtime.. that make suck.
should i sign my new contract?

I got a little confused with your post. Which contract are you talking about here? To work in an IT department? Anyway, if you are talking about this you really have to consider the contract seriously. You said that it was indicated on the contract labor that "you are not allowed to leave the establishment if your service is still needed but you are not allowed to file a overtime." Which means this company is simply taking advantage of its employees. If I will be in your position I will not sign it. People are already complaining which means it is not a good company which would take care of its employees. But if you are in great need you can take it for the mean time and get an experience and find another company after.

I see. So it would be in the same company. Maybe if there isn't any better at this time you can just try it there at the moment. Learn what you can learn and just be more patient. You do not have to stay there for long anyway. Godbless on your new job.

I suggest that you go for the work which you feel can best realize your potentials. Consider your fulfillment and satisfaction with your decision. No company can tie you up and not let you go if you want to leave. It is your choice if you choose to live or stay in a company. Only those who are bonded due to them being given training and the company investing on them can a company justify not to let you go for another job or employer. Just go with where your passion is and you will reap great rewards in there.

All jobs pretty much suck - lol. The key is finding one that sucks the least. If the salary is ok for you, then tune the rest of the complainers out. They will only bring you down.

That's really weird contract also the people complaining. Maybe you should find another company with better conditions because I can see that they will force you to work long hours without payment. That is wrong and I'm sure you will be not happy there. Think about it. Maybe there is better job for you. I wish you all the best.

yeah its kind of weird, but they can't do anything about it, because they need that job, most of them is quit elderly and that job is there first job, which make them difficult to find another company, their not that confident, instead stay and say something bad about the company that they work for, such a cruel right.sigh..

Staying on the company your working for may be based on certain factors like the amount of salary, the perks they give their employees and the opportunity that you would find as an employee.
It is important that you like your job and you are happy to do certain tasks as requried by the position you have applied for. We become productive and more functional if we are happy with our job.
Sometimes you can look past the offered pay as long as you get the chance to learn more which is vital in your performance as an employee. We cannot get everything we want on our job. What is important is you will have room to grow, opportunity for experience which you can bring with you when the right time comes to enter a different office of your choice in the future.

i think this compnay is in your town, the company proved a Salary to you is much to live, enjoy the life and saving. it's more the you in your town an with your firend's family and relative, you can spend more time woth your G.f., that you can sing the contract.
but before the sining the contract to find out the Compnay stability, and finasila strog.
You think your salary is low then find out the other job with continu this job and you got the high salary job then brack this contract.
At present the imporent to find a stable job, this job is low salary but you got salary at time in your account.

For me yes it is hard to deal with just patient but if you are not good to think in you just transfer any time to it so that you feel happy and not bored.

If I were in your situation, I would only follow what my heart says. If some people are not happy in that company, this does not have to be the case with you. Different people have different wants and types. Consider everything and decide based on what you think and feel is right for you.

well, i experienced this before. i prioritised my needs and it turned out that for couple of months i still needed the job unless i could find another job that is better for me.
first i had to struggle even if i was not happy, but later on i moved to a different job which my heart, mind, and pocket were peaceful. it took a while but it was worth it. =)
