Liverpool could only reap a draw in his first match in the Premier League season 2011-2012. At homeway, 'the red' offset sunderland 1-1.
Luis Suarez put Liverpool ahead in the 12th minute in the match. A few minutes before Suarez throw away a golden opportunity by failing to execute the penalty.
Liverpool's victory finally floated after Sebastian Larsson evened the score for Sunderland on 57 minutes. Match held at Anfield, Liverpool headquarters, it ended with a final score of 1-1.

Liverpool played fantastically well in the first half. But in the second half they were marginal. Suarez scored one and missed a penalty which could have sealed the game for Liverpool.
In the second half they fell to a fantastic goal by Larson, but the defense needs to be questioned as they seemed to go to sleep. But overall it was a good start to Liverpool campaign at least from intent perspective.
Cheers!
