I raise my hand - yes, I admit to being a Facebook addict! Besides it being a place to communicate with everyone we know, I love that it's a one stop place to do it. I can read everyone's business through the news feed (skim through it quickly without having to open up emails) and they can see what's up with me. I can post photos or status reports about me and my life and not have to send them to individual people anymore. And it's all pretty BRIEF - which is great because I tend to write too much via email and I waste so much time emailing . . . a short comment here and there saves sooooo much time!! Boring - yes, I admit it can get boring sometimes - but then I'll work on posting my stuff - and then I get sucked back into it - ha ha. I'm not on Facebook to meet people . . . just interested in reconnecting/keeping in touch with the people I know or knew in my life - I find it "interesting".

Ok, now that you mention "children" - yes, perhaps you are right. I can think of a few kids I know who are probably on Facebook just a wee too much - and say some of the most inappropriate things - not good really. I think it's up to the parents to monitor this sort of thing. My daughter is about to go to first grade - and although she knows about Facebook - she's not interested in having her own account - but she does have friends who already do have an account (and their parents say they are on it a lot). Communication online is scary as it is - I'd want to make sure my child is responsible enough to be on it before I let her get on the Facebook wagon!

I use to be on face book a lot, but after a while i got bored of it.I do think that there are a few people that i know that are always on it, but just like other people a few of us have got rather bored as it seems that people put status up that say moody things.
