Have anyone received fake friend request in Facebook?

two of my fb accounts are almost up to 3 thousand friends. it happens, i received fake friend requests but i usually don't accept it when my intuationn tells me this person smells fishy. and if i don't like my friends messing up aound my wall, i st my wall and photo tags in private settings.

I get requests from people/names I don't know - but I never add those people in. When I see an unfamiliar name, I see what I can through their profile or see who are mutual friends are, if any. And I have no clue who that person is, then I just delete/ignore the request - I don't need any potential weirdos on my friends list. My friends list consists of people I know in real life . . . and I will always message them to engage in some sort of conversation so I know it is them. I've only seen one of my friend's friends try to add me with a fake account - but I suspect he wanted more "friends" for one of the games he was playing on my Facebook thing. I thought he wanted to be friends because we had a mutual interest with our mutual friends - but as soon as he found out I wasn't active in any of the games - he promptly deleted me. That was fine with me!

i have received a lot of fake accounts which really annoyed me. there were times that i found some of those that stole my pictures and posted on their albums.

People probably make fake accounts for spying reasons you know. Because they want to see what these particular people are up to and they don't want to use their real names for that... They don't want to 'get caught' so they would rather use bogus accounts for privacy reasons..

yes,i did received some fake friend before but i delete it after i found it .

I do nott think they make friend requests to find girlfriends or boyfriends but sometimes to stalk on people.

It happens to me most of the time. I've been receiving friend requests from celebrities of all kinds. From local to international celebrities. Probably these are fake accounts that others used for gaming purposes. I usually decline those requests.

no i dont think they make those accounts to make girlfriends,but i think they make those accounts to take revenge from some one or for creating problems in someones life,

hi:) Yes I noticed that too in facebook, so many fakes account and you can't even tell if they are the real person that's on the photos because many are also using fake photos, so that's why I don't add strangers, only those I really know.
