Hi cudamani,
Yes, there are difficulties in learning a new language. First is sentence construction. A format is usually followed in order to form a sentence that is grammatically correct. We have to learn whether the noun comes first before the adjective or verb. Or, vice versa. Aside from that, we need to memorize the daily expressions used by the country whose language we want to learn from. Another, we need to know the definition of terms. Another is how to pronounce words correctly. If we speak it, the sound should come out smooth and not in hard tones, or vice versa as the case maybe. It is also important to speak with somebody who have the same language. With constant practice, we will surely achieve our goal of learning that language. I tried to learn a new language a long time ago, it did not prosper because i lacked practice with somebody who speak the same language.

I fel that the most difficult part of learning a new language is to "think" in a new way. Languuages are not a translation word by word but there are thought that in some languages the importance is placed in one part of the sentence and in others in another. Many words have to deal with the experiences in each world where tthat language is spoken.
