I just got a mail from Market swag , that the PTP is no longer is paying its users. And they are announcing this just one day before the date of cashout.
I also joined that site, but was not that much active, so I didn't reach even the min $5! But this is very bad news all of them who worked almost all day there to make some money.

Yea, I heard about that. I wasn't active there either. I actually signed up for the purpose of defending what was being said about myLot. I have no intention of participating in that forum, anyway.
The way I see the Admin managing that site, I already have a feeling that it will turn scam one day but I just didn't expect it to be so soon. The value for each post is way too high for a forum site.

VP, I too read good reviews about Marketswag but when I saw the value of each post, I conclude that it will turn scam one day. Sorry that you didn't manage to get your payment after all your hard work.
Seobuzz, guess the Admin wasn't fully prepared to handle such a site.

Yeah I agree, the rate was too high compared to the standards. But if only they had some proper mechanism to achieve the revenue then it may not turned scam. But as you said, I also got the feeling that the site will turn into scam sooner or later. And it did.

I have never heard about this site, but I will definitely not join it, now that you have let us know that they have turned to scam. But it is much more better that they have announced you that they are unable to pay, than other sites which stop paying but still claim they are and fool lots of people, making them waste their precious time.

It is very nice to heard that , you not joined that website. Most bad thing is that, I joined this website from some task section of mylot. They made a announcement that is right, but that was just before the day of payout. They could have made the announcement earlier.

Yes, maybe you are right, but definitely it is better for them to announce you than to find out by yourself.

If you made the min payout and didn't receive your payment then I would call this a scam. However, it means from that point forward (since the announcment) no more payments will be made. They will still have to pay any user who reached cashout before the announcment, or shortlythere after. But, anyone who joined today, or who just had been paid will no longer receive payments. At least that's how they would have to do things if they were legal and legit. If not then chances are you probably won't see that money.

Agreed with kaylachan too. Anyway, people will still call it a scam as there already has review written about that site that says it pays for posting before they made the changes and new members would be upset when they find out that they don't get paid later on after signing up.

Well it is indeed sad that after spending some time with it, you would find a site a scam. I've read from some articles on the internet that sometimes legitimate sites can also become a scam site. So there is no assurance that the legit sites you join in, wouldn't become a scam the next day.

A bad news.I am sorry to hear it. I once was told there was a website that can make a lot of money, but at first it needed to buy a kind of program. Then I searched some information about it on the internet to find out it was just a scam. So I didn't sign up on that website. I have been told that mylot is trustful.

That is so sad. that is the reason online activities are always doubted. If you have websites like that all the time, people will find it hard to try other websites. Whta is unfortunate is that there are websites that are legit and trustworthy. Oh well, what can we do...it's all about money when crooks do their thing.
