Its different in my case. Since I do all those things you mentioned. I do smoke after doing those things as like a gift for myself. lols. So the more I work the more I smoke. lols. But right now I decide to lessen or cut back smoking. Before I used marlboro red. then I shift to marlboro light. Then now I'm using philip morris.

I think the best answer for me is change of environment. Change of routine. I think that is the best way to stop smoking. Usually when I'm in new house or in vacation. I tend to smoke less because I'm not in my comfort zone. Because when I smoke at my home I have a certain place where I sit and smoke.

I also try that. But then my mouth become stiff because of chewing gum. And my tongue got blisters because of candy. Because tendency is that you keep chewing if you have chewing gum. And You keep on playing the candy with your tongue if you have candy.

Actually I stop smoking five times. The longest I think is five months. then I return smoking. I think because I smoked since grade school and when I have some problem I smoke more. So its like my stress reliever. Problem is that if the stress will not kill me its the smoke that will. lols.

The stress might give you a heart attack though lol but that is not certain but the smokes will kill you one day.
Quiting is hard. I tried three time before I was successful, so never give up hope. Your health will improve no end and you will save yourself a small fortune

I think if I can find a good job and if I can reduce my debt to 80% then I think I can stop smoking. lols. Because usually I only smoke when I'm down. Thinking of what to do next and thinking to solve the unsolvable problem.

I'm smoker too but I don't smoke two packages a day. It's really too much. First you need to cut down a little bit before you decide to quit. lack of nicotine in your body will be very disturbing at the level you smoke now. I think about quitting but first I started with cutting down a little bit. The is so many methods on the market now. Pills, drops, patches. Your doctor can help you to choice what is right for you. Good luck!

Thanks. Actually I tried cut down. But problem is when withdrawal syndrome sits in. I have no another alternative but to smoke again. And I also notice that when I cut down smoking I drink more coffee. lols. And another thing is that all of us in the house smoke so its really hard to stop smoking.

I just stop smoking for three hours now. And now its time to go to bed. My throat right now is swollen and I feel hard to breath right now. I don't know if this is withdrawal syndromes or what. But I feel that I have a fever right now. I hope by tomorrow I will feel fine.
