how to get rid off from negative thought ?

hey friend i m suffering from a deadly diease it really ruins my life the diease is the negative thought that always remain in my mind so friends there is any treatment of it please share with me to get rid from it ?

Negative thoughts are destructive at most so you have to get yourself out of it before it consumes you completely. What I suggest you do is surround yourself with positive people. Think of those people that make you feel great whenever you're around them. I can assure you, your negativity will be swooped away in no time. If it's not possible, I suggest you just think of positive thoughts. Think of the time you laughed out loud because something happened, like someone fell on his butt or something. This can greatly affect your mood.

Though I try to maintain positive thought all the time, there are times when negative thoughts strike me. And when they do, they can sometimes grow wild and conquer my whole mind. At such times, the positive state of my mind seems to be out of reach. Well, of course such situation should not happen. Now I think there is a good way to deal with it. There are actually only two steps to get rid of those negative thoughts: 1. Flee 2. Fill Very easy to remember right ? Flee and fill. Flee and fill. And what does it mean ? 1. Flee First of all, we must flee from all those negative thoughts. Don’t pay attention to them, don’t talk to them, and don’t argue with them. Just flee and run away ! Leave all those negative thoughts and go. 2. Fill Now that we have fled from all those negative thoughts, we must fill our mind with something so that those negative thoughts won’t come back. Naturally, fill our mind with positive thoughts. This is one reason why having a quote of the day is a good thing. This way we always have something handy to fill our mind with. Remember, you cannot go to step 2 without doing step 1 first. It’s useless to try to fill your mind with positive thoughts if you still carry all those negative thoughts with you. Throw them away first and then you’ll be ready to fill your mind with positive thoughts. Of course, the hardest part is step 1. We must initiate to flee. But it’s possible that we do not realize that our mind is conquered until it’s too late (for example, until we make stupid decisions). To anticipate this, here is what we need to do: 1. Watch our mind continuously The goal is we must be aware of the current state of our mind. If negative thoughts start striking, we must be aware of it. Don’t let our mind flow freely outside our awareness. 2. Make firm decision When there is an indication that negative thoughts are coming, make a firm decision that we want to flee from them ! There’s no other way, we must make decision. This way our mind is conditioned to flee from those thoughts. And after that, stick with our decision. Flee. Go. Run away. And don’t forget to continue to step 2, that is filling our mind with positive thoughts. These simple tips are useful for me. I hope they will also be useful for you. Good luck !

Hey friend, I think you are into depression state. Try to look out what bothers you. Friends? Family? or workmates? Do you earn enough? Are you contented with your life? If not, then you are depressed on those things. Get medical help. Good Luck.

try not to dwell on those negative stuff..try focusing on the good things that you have done and the good memories..try reading "the secret" its all about law of attraction..try focusing on the positive things of what's good for you and what would be better for you..

I think that a good way of getting rid of negative thoughts is do something fun that you enjoy doing, doing something relaxing. It could be listening to music, reading a good book, watching a funny movie or television show, or something like that. I think the main thing is that it's something pleasant, fun and relaxing for you.

Hi siliguri~ I honestly wish I knew the answer to your question. I am afraid that I tend to be the same way and think negatively. I am always being told by my friends to stop it and think positively. It is easier said then done. It is something that I have to work on and I really have to think about it and try hard. I have a "disease" that makes me think that way, but that isn't an excuse. I have a "Depressive Disorder" and am on medication to help it. The only way to stop thinking negatively is to "talk yourself out of it" and talk yourself into being more positive. It takes time to change your way of thinking, but only you can change yourself and you have to want to change. There is no quick or "magic" fix. If you are really concerned, I suggest you seek a doctor or therapist's help. I do know that it helped me somewhat, but the rest is up to you.

Dear siliguri, having negative thoughts is not a disease, please do not worry. The thing that you could be bound to suffer from would be mostly depression. This is because you tend to dwell too much on negative things and not able to move on. From there, the mind will constantly stay at that stage and everyday, you will be thinking about unhappy things, which will only make you more and more frustrated and sad that's all. Here's an advise, in order not to think about negative things, do the opposite. Yes, think of happy things, even minor events that's going to happen in the near future, in a couple of minutes or seconds, just think of them and I can guarantee if you can change your mindset and tune to just happy things, I promise you, you'll be happy in no time.

Hello there. I am not sure if this advice will work out for you. I suggest that you should not think of that disease that you have.Consider such as a challenge. Enjoy your life. the more you think of that the more you will be stressed out. So instead of spending sometime thinking of your problem, do something that can keep yourself busy this can help you forget your problem. Enjoy life.

Here is my suggestion. I hope it will help you in getting rid of the "negative thoughts". That is practising "meditation". I have been practising meditation for many years now, and I find it very helpful in getting rid of the mental stresses. You can start by meditating fifteen minutes a day, and as you gain experience you can sit for longer periods. Best wishes to you !
