Woah, that's pretty cool...you play the bagpipe? My dad travels to Europe occasionally for business trips, and he's a huge fan of Scottish-type music, especially bagpipe music, and it's always playing in our house. He's imprinted that obsession on us, and I've never met anyone who can play. You should teach me :P

Music is my life. It has been my outlet since I was a kid. I first liked dancing but when I was in grade school my interest shifted into singing. I took up voice and piano lessons when I was 7 and it was really an awesome experience having to play musical pieces and singing them at the same time.I was a choir member and a band member too. Now that I am working I have put up a choir and whenever I feel tired or stressed I just hang out with them and I feel revived. Music is also praying twice as stated by St Augustine. So when we sing praises to Him we also pray. Sharing my music is also one way of sharing this talent God has given me by making others happy when they listen to good music. My choir's advocacy is "I am my music" and I am proud to say that we have not only been singing in church services but also put up great shows in the community.

Music takes a major role in my life. Music helps me focus and concentrate on whatever I'm doing. Music can also help me relax. Music can help me change my mood. It does so much in my life.
I always turn on music when studying for my classes. I've done it since elementary school. It helps me concentrate and get into the mood of studying, but also relieves the stress of studying. I listen to classical music before exams, as they help invigorate the brain. When I'm upset, I listen to pump-up music and cheerful, bright music, and it also helps me feel as though I'm understood. I listen to music in the car, whenever I find time.

That I'll have to agree with you. I've been listening to instrumental smooth jazz on Sky.FM and it's been my musical companion for these 1 and a half years already. Smooth jazz is also soothing and relaxing and it's the best music to listen to after a hard day's work. Smooth jazz calms down my mind and it also makes me study better, which is the reason why I chose smooth jazz as my 'official' music.

I think everybody just loves to listen to music.Although we have so many different tastes , but as long as we enjoy listening to it is a good thing. However, I still can't find the reason how some would find heavy metal and heavy rock enjoyable to listen too, but I guess that is their own business.
When I was drawn to the internet, and I got lucky to own a laptop which is conveniently stationed beside my bed, I turn to youtube now for my listening pleasure. It is really amazing how I can see now how it is being sung by my favorites singers.

Yeah, music really helps us in most ways.Music gives inspiration to us to be more productive, just like in offices where pipe-in music are played.Music relaxes us and help us to at least forget for a moment our problems. If you have talents in music, yes why not try to write some songs if you have time maybe we can hear it someday.Good bless you my friend.

I envy you. You can write music. I always wanted to play cello. But my family had no money to send me to musical school. However love to the music last. I listen to the music wherever I have time. Music makes me focus and calms me down. It can cheer me up and change my mood completely. Thanks to music I met my partner. I remember our first conversation and what I said then. I said that I love music which is rich and has many dimensions. My partner agreed with me that time but he meant Bach and Mozart and I meant Rammstein and other metal bands :)

Listening to music does relax me and calms me down. Sometimes when I'm home alone I just crank the stereo up and just sit back and relax. I feel like I'm in a whole different world. Like, music just opens up my imagination and makes me feel amazing. Of course, listening to the different genres of music depends on how I feel, so listening to some nice "happy" music with some smooth signing just makes me relaxed inside and out.

Yes, listening to music is my favorite way for relaxation too. I like classical music very much, Chopin, Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart, Johan Strauss, and more. I keep a collection of CDs of classical music, and listen to them every evening after I get back home from work. That is my way of getting rid of the stresses of the day. Have a nice day !
