How to get referrals

Those of you who earn money online with PTC, survey, or other money earning sites: What is the most effective way to get referrals to those sites? Are there any sites you use to promote your money making sites? I really want to learn and want to know what works. Thanks in advance!

Usually people start blogs or websites to promote these site that they go to. Then, when they post the link, it's their referral link. It's a win-win situation for both people. You can very easily create blogs or websites for free online. Afterwards, try to get an audience by telling friends or even talking about it here on Mylot.
You can start by talking about the new site that you found or discovered recently by starting a Mylot discussion. Tell newcomers to come to the site, and post your referral link. Also, you can make a button with a URL code linking to your referral link on your profile page for others to see.

Let's say I start a blog with all my earning sites on it. (I've been thinking about doing so for a while.) If I talk about it on here and I post my blog link in a discussion, will it get deleted?
You mentioned starting a mylot discussion and posting a referral link. I can I'm the link to those who accept my friend request, is that what you meant? If I post the link in the discussion, won't it get deleted?
Also, I have tried to post banners and affiliate links in my profile but anything HTML does not show up. Do I have to have a higher rep to post HTML in my profile?

Oops, sorry, I forgot about that. Yeah, like yallit said, don't do that :P But you can try to make a lot of friends and notify them via message and such. That may be more effective, as it is more direct. But it's up to you :P
I however would recommend adding a banner or something to your profile. You said that HTML doesn't work? I've been able to post HTML-created banners in the past without a problem and without a rep (at least I think I did before...I guess I deleted them? :P) If you have any questions, you can message me or contact Mylot. I'm sure they will be able to solve your problems.

I usually use referral exchange to get direct referrals. You sign up as referral for someone and he/she signs up as your referral in return.
You can also promote your links on your blog.If you have been paid by a site you can show the payment proof and there are more chances of users signing up as your referral.
You cannot promote your links here in myLot discussions but you can place your links on your profile page here.
emoneyspace allows you to promote your blog and links. You can use referral exchange or make referral deals.

Create a blog, be descriptive about the sites and paste your referral banners and promote your blog. A little trick, try to promote in your locality. However, make sure your sites are genuine/legit before referring to others.
Also try referral exchange programs available in money making discussion forums.

I use my blog to refer others, then, I just promote my blog to get a higher rank and visitors. At least, in my blog, perspective referrals can get some information about the sites I'm referring them to plus they can check my payment proofs. I also constantly update my blog and provide info regarding the sites I'm with (like if the site has stopped paying or if there's a new promo).

I promote my blog several ways. I submit articles to some article writing sites with my URL included. I also use free traffic system where in 1 article can be submitted to 50 blogs. I use my URL also as a signature when I visit some forums. And lastly, as a way to maintain an average number of visitors and keep my Alexa rank, I promote my site using safelists and traffic exchanges.
