It is said that fellowship with God, trust, confidence , peace and relief are the wonderful feelings that will be ours when we learn to pray.

Yes, that is really true, the more you come closer to God the more that he reveals himself to you. Whenever I come to him, sometimes I pray, sometimes I just worship, sometimes I dance. Every meeting time is different it depends on what He wants me to do. Sometimes he just speaks to me right then and there. What he tells me are always confirmed. But every drawing to him really makes me closer to him, no matter how it is done.

Oh you are now really so close to God ,as i can perceive from your response. One thing though that i am not yet able to do is to dance while i am in my praying mode.
But i can do that for sure when a big prayer request will be answered. I will dance out of joy!
During my prayer time, i pray, i listen to worship songs, i worship and read my devotional. But it could only be one of them only sometimes, depending on the time i have.

I believe you are more consistent in your devotion time than me, it is not really in how close I am to God. Because I believe that you are very close to Him too. If you want to dance and receive new things, just ask God and open your heart to it and believe. Sometimes many churches have different beliefs and mindsets that blocks the Spirit's move, no matter how He wants to.
When you worship, give your all out. If God wants you to laugh, then laugh. If he wants you to shout or cry out loud then do so.. It is just one of the stepping stone to receive new things of God.. I am so glad i met you here in mylot.. I love talking about God.
I remember when I first became a Christian, I think I didn't reach a year of being a Christian yet. I would dream dreams. I see miracles before my eyes. When I was in college, answers in a long exam would just lit up and I even got one of the highest score even if I wasn't able to study at all. It also happend to a friend of mine. God is just awesome!

I think , God has been speaking to you already even when you aren't that close to him yet. Perhaps, he was making Himself noticed by you during that time. And he did a good job because you are now into HIM so much!
