At this point of my life, I can say that I am now very much at ease with my relationship with God.
I have two praying time, upon waking up in the morning and before I go to sleep. These are my two regular praying times , but I pray whenever and wherever I want to. When I pray, I always imagine him , sitting in front of me , watching me. And most of the time, I would have goosebumps! That’s because , I could feel his presence while I pray . Sometimes, I am already crying !
So, how about you?

I love my relationship with God now. Because I got to know Him more and know His heart more and know how much He loves me more. I feel His presence everywhere I go. Whenever I would just worship Him, I would feel that my worship and my heart has gone deeper. And everything that I am experiencing right now just made me even want more.

So you have noticed too, that the more we get closer to God, the more that we long to know him more and more , as if we are hungry for some more knowledge about Him?

yes indeed.. There is more to know about God that we dont know yet. Knowing him takes forever.. which makes a Christian life so exciting because it doesn't end. Movies end, classes end, and days end but knowing GOd is never ending. If we become contended on how we know God, we become stagnant and block the new things of God. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone of us Christians..

I am in relationship with Him also!
As relationship with friends, do let them know how happy or angry you are?
That's exactly that relation that the Lord is seeking in you!
I remember just weeks ago, I was angry for not knowing what to do next and that's been going on for week! During this outburst, as I was trying to log into my facebook account, one of my friends sent a comment which was also receive as sms!
As I finally log in my FB account, after being so angry with the Lord and upon receiving my friend comment, I then understood what I need to do! Boy such comment could not have came at better timing than this!
Remeber by honest in your relationship with the Lord!

Yes, when we have a good relationship with God, we feel as if He is just always there, ready to listen to us. So, we could get angry at Him, but not for long , because He will find a way to appease that anger!
He truly can feel what we feel.

My relationship with God.. Hrm.. How to explain without making myself seem like a false believer or a heretic? I suppose my relationship with Him is a relaxed Father/daughter type relationship. I don't pray but I do talk to Him, sometimes to the point of rambling to where I don't shut up. I am the type of believer who believes you don't need to go to a building to worship God. You don't need to look fancy or dress nicely, or look clean. I also read Harry Potter and watch horrid movies.
Now, some may say that they need facts to believe in a God. But I've studied the way the body works. Each cell is programmed to function in a certain way. Each member of the body works harmoniously because the brain tells it what to do. And yet, where does the programming of the brain come from? What sets our brains apart from a dog's brain? However....in a funny situation.. I've seen dogs that were smarter than some people.. What makes us all so unique and different? Genetics? Yes. But how did genetics come into being (This is why I need to find my biology book so I can finish reading up on what I've not gotten the chance to learn)?
Biology is an interesting subject, along with it chemistry. Now I am not a believer in Scientology, nor do I practice the doctrines of Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Seven Day Adventists, etc. When I stopped depending those religions' points of view, my faith in God has risen astronomically. And because of my belief in Him, I'm more than ever curious about the human species. This includes a biological stand point (really wish I could find my biology book), and psychology viewpoint. I took a class of that in college, and you can learn a lot about a person after studying psychology.
Plus, it makes for great fiction writing. :D

Talking to God, is having communication with God. Your talking to God, is by itself a prayer. IT's just that, it's more of a down to earth prayer.

I treat God as my invisible best friend, I talk to Him through out the day even if it's only in my mind. I believe that He never leaves our side, specially during our darkest moments. There are times that I feel like giving up, what I'll do is talk to Him and ask for guidance, after that I would feel better. Then I know he had touched my heart and made me feel that I can pass through all of the difficulties I'm facing...reminds me of a line in a famous song "He won't give us what we can't bear..."

I salute you wheng for having a strong faith in God. Keep it up!
I may be prayerful but sometimes, i feel like giving up. I guess, it's human nature, but then i always try to overcome it, by continuously praying. Like you, i also treat him as an invisible companion. I talk to him, sometimes even vocally while i walk, that maybe others who have heard me might be wondering i am "may sayad sa ulo"

...it happens, I also somtimes finds myself in that situation not to mention, with a smile on my face
But seriously, God had shown me so many things, I call it miracles. For there are times that when I'm on the verge of giving up or loosing hope, there will always be something or someone that will save the day for me!

Honestly, my relationship with God is not like yours. I'm sorry to say that I am not a religious person although I pray every day and thank him for everything he gave me and my family, friends, etc. I also talk to him sometimes when I feel like talking to someone.

Continue praying and believing. It is also so helpful if you would also read the bible. Maybe you can have a daily devotional which has guides on what to read after, on the bible.

don't mention it. We are all here at Mylot to share what we know and show our support to everyone who needs it.
Just continue , having the bible sharing with your two friends. God is happy, when two or more gathers in His name. Just remember that.

God is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere. I have my usual prayer time at night before I go to sleep and on Sundays when I hear mass but just like you I do it anytime, anywhere if I feel like it. I talk to Him as a friend, as a brother and as a father. My personal relationship with God is something that I am proud of because no one can question it, it's between me and Him. We have that bond that no one can break because I totally lift everything to Him. I trust that He will guide, protect and bless me. Most of the time I feel His presence because He never fails to provide for my needs especially in my finances. Right now I am just starting a business and I feel so down sometimes because I still have to learn a lot and I can say that I am not earning enough but I am keeping my faith that He will help me get on track and soon I will succeed in this line of business I ventured into.

dear, the best way to start a relationship is by going to a bible believing church who teach the doctrine of the bible truthfully and also getting a good bible for yourself which you can study on your own regularly. you can get as much as you can since there are other bibles which has been made easy for understanding and learning. if you do this diligently, you will experience a true and fulfilling relationship with GOD. i tried it and i have never regretted it.

Yes, i am in to that too. It forms part of my daily activity to read it, specially at night before i go to sleep. I have read the whole bible 2x but still, i keep on reading it, specially the New Testament.
I would also always read my devotional before i pray. Makes me so inspired to pray.

Sql, obstacles and temptations will always be there. They are tests for our faith.
When we worship, we need not go to the church or mosque, where usually mass or prayers are to be done. We can do it somewhere , where we could silently or even vocally worship Him.
I do my worship in our bedroom. It has now become my sanctuary, specially when husband is still asleep during my morning prayer and at night, as i arrive home and husband is still in his work.

My relationship with God is great and I make sure that I pray every night before bed. A nice way to end the day by talking to God before the lights are out. Ever night, I would ask him to make the next day a good and bright day. When it's time to end the day, I would thank him for that day that has gone by.

That's very nice to know. Praying should always be made at anytime it is most convenient for us to do so.
