best times for swimming

Now that I am not working I can go swimming at a lot more times than I could before.
Often it is better to swim in the morning because then you feel can good for the rest of the day.
The only thing is in the morning many people that work will be swimming before work so I feel it will be better to go to the pool during the day when many people are working. As it is still winter I will go to the 25m heated pool which has lessons until 12:00, and I have checked today's uv ratings which go down at 2:00. So, I am getting organised to have a swim at 2:00 in the heated pool. That gives me an hour as they have lessons in that pool at 3:00.
Does this sound a bit complicated? While I am not very fit I do enjoy swimming when I can have my own space if it is possible.
Do you swim much? Do you feel there are better times to swim, or do you just go anytime at all? Is this something you don't even think about?

During my younger days, and when I had plenty of time, I preferred swimming in the mornings, every day. Yes, as you say, that refreshes to go on into the rest of the day. These days, I go swimming just once or twice a week, and that is in the evenings after I get back home from work. That is refreshing too, helping to get rid of the stresses of the day.

Yes, I think eventually when I get fitter I will aim for about 1km 2 or 3 times a week. Of course I just did about 550m today, so I have a bit to go, but I don't mind working up to it. The pool costs have gone up now to $4.50 a visit, so I won't go there every day, and will also do more walking in between.
I used to go swimming after work (if I didn't have time before work) and, as you said, it really helped me deal with the stresses of work.

I love to be swim although I am not an expert swimmer nevertheless that does not prevent me from enjoying the beach or the pool because anyway a floater can always help. As for me the best time to swim is very early morning. It gives me more privacy as not much people are swimming as many are still asleep after spending late nights. Although I feel refreshed all day when I swim during early morn.
