The best way to improve your English would be to watch news channels like bbc,cnn-ibn etc. It wuld be better to watch tv programmes rather than going for movies. I think in movies they use lot of collochial words which wont be good when you consider your writing skills. watch tv programmes, improve your grammar and then you may rely on movies where by you can improve your spoken Enlish.

Yes, jafburns is right. Also you try to read magazine and newspaper since these stuff contain good and proper wording. You can watch movies, why not - provided that you have to turn the subtitle off. Because most of the time you always focusing on the subtitle, not on the person you are watching.

I also like those series shows. For improving your english you must read newspaper or any magazine at least 2x a week and also watching news on TV and interactive shows too. These will improve your vocabulary.

I agree with you. Vocubulary is a problem for me:(. It seems hard to learn English well. Yes, learn language is not an easy thing. I will try watch interactive show (it must be difficult to me.). Thank you and have a nice day:)

I've learned english by playing online videogames. For me this is the best way of learning english because you can talk with other people and have some fun. I've watched hundreds of movies and they help with english but video games are still better. But there is one problem.. I don't know if it' just me but I can write and read english very well but I can't talk or listen english properly! I guess the only solution is to have english lessons or speak with other english persons. When I spoke with a microphone with other people I could understand them perfectly and i knew what to say but I couldn't say the words properly, i was choking myself. Cheers :)
