If You Had To Do A 30 Day Challenge

Do you think you could start a New discussion every day for one whole month without running out of things to say and discuss or would this be impossible? I do know that there are many of us here who would never even consider something like this as how could we ever keep up? Plus in 30 days do you really think that there is enough you could consider even wanting to talk about? Overall think about it. I know this is a challenge I would not want to take and try to keep as with sometimes my quite busy lifestyle with Health issues, working Full time, etc. this is not something I would want to try and shoot for. There are times I do post here more than others, but 30 New discussions in one month would really be asking a lot. How about you? Do you think you could ever do it? ~~TINA~~

Hi Tina! I personally do not think I could do it as I think my quality level would be dropping. I prefer not to take such challenge and risk repeating topics that have already been discussed. I do know several members who for a very long time post 3 - 5 good quality discussions daily and can comment to all of the responses with good quality comments. Wow! I don't think I personally can. lol

Yes, it is hard to ever find a New discussion to post and start here that has not been talked about already. Even many times when it comes to personal discussions about ones life many could be considered repeats, even as in the new updates I do from time to time regarding my Health even. But Yes, there are a lot of people here starting a lot of New discussions and able to keep up with them, and this is truly amazing.

I can't picture myself starting that many discussions without ever duplicating what someone has already said. I don't understand why anyone would want to start that many. I barely have time to respond to the few discussions that I find daily so if I tried post 30 new discussions that had not been talked about. If some of the people that try to start 10 or 20 discussions would just go back and respond to the comments that folks have posted, they would find they don't need to keeping starting topics.

Yes it is True that more people need to go back in and respond back to their discussions that have started them, and I know I am way behind in getting all my discussions responded back too, and a Best response chosen. I am going to try and focus myself more on this thru the next week in here and see if I can get more of these done.

Lately I have to juggle my time between here, my husband on my days off, my Online/Offline Business and other things as well. It does limit the time I can spend here, but with it now being the end of the month, and I would really Love to reach payout if I can I need to focus a lot of my time here for sure.

If I really wanted to I would give it a go but sometimes it gets annoying when people start endless amounts of discussions one after another, so I wouldnt want to annoy others with some pointless discussion just to start a new discussion... I do think about what topics I should start a discussion about and sometimes I have many great ideas but then once I research it a little bit more I tend to think twice and not worry... Sometimes I dont want to share my personal things in my life upfront, so I will express my thoughts in responding to others discussions instead...

Well, that is True. And the many times I have discussed things about my personal life on here, I have wondered if I am sharing too much, or are people getting tired of it, and then I read the many comments or hear of all the people on here continuing to Pray for me, and know in time everything is going to be OK.

hi tina oh no not me. One occasionally is about all I can handle as I do try really to comment on all responses I get and sometimes I still get behind. I would never make it doing one every day even if I could think of a topic that would be interesting to most people. I think I would have to bypass that challenge for sure.Just thinking of say 50 responses times 30 and try to figure out how one could respond to all of those. no way and make quality discussions and comments back . the whole thing would lose quality as the longer you worked the tireder you would get and it would begin to be sort of trashy by the end of them.oh my gosh you would have one hundred fifty some responses to comment to and how would anyone do that and make them quality at the same time.

Yes, this is an interesting way to look at things for sure. Finding things to talk about in here all the time is a challenge, and then finding time to respond back to all of them takes a lot of time for sure. As you can tell I am always far behind but going to try my best to get a couple more resolved in the next week for sure.

Well a lot of my discussions that I have started are about my own personal experiences and what I am going thru at this time. I know that there is way more I could talk about other than all this, but limited on time. Many times though I have gotten an idea for a discussion from what someone else was talking about as well.

I find it much easier to respond to some of the comments that folks make to what people post than it is to search the database for a topic that hasn't posted about.

Oh, I don't think I would have a problem at all. I have so many I need to send BR's out on that I don't start many new ones cause I know I will forget. I think we can all find time for alittle Mylot daily and could do at least one new discussion each day about something that happened or an item of person interest.

It is so hard to catch up and give out BR. As you can tell I am still trying to catch up on this one as well as some of my other older discussions but from time to time trying to Start New discussions here as well. I have a lot of things I actually need to share here. Just trying to find the time to start them.

The only reason I do not post topics here is because I will not be able to cope with handling the discussions per se if there will be many responses.Posting one topic a day is no challenge at all.

Well for me it would be hard to come up with something to start every day, and then to find more time to keep up with all of them responding back to them is a Big challenge as well.

I am sure I could do it, but I am not sure the quality would be the best. I also am sure that I would regret it, because of the aspect of keeping up with the answers. I once started eighteen in one day, then spent the next one commenting on responses. It was an experiment.

As you can tell my friend, it would not be Good for me to even consider trying something like this as I am way behind as is. I have been thinking one of these days, maybe after Christmas if things settle down some I will go thru some of my discussions and respond back to some more of them and try to get some more of them resolved.

I hear you. It has been Crazy around here. And now there are a lot of other issues we are having to deal with as well. I do need to share some of these things going on, but just seem to never have time to post much here. Trying to at least keep up a little though as I can.

Hi ! I just cannot take up this challenge. I cannot think of a new topic each day. Even if I think, it may not be interesting or meaningful. Even if I manage to find an interesting topic each day, I may not be able to do justice with each response and comment, as I get very limited time for Mylotting.

I can agree with this one. There are a lot of times that there is no way I have the time to even keep up with some of the other discussions that I have started here let alone find topics I would be interested in starting each day. I am just glad to see you still coming in posting when you can.

Same here. I am not sure I would be able to think of 30 either unless something exciting was really going on. As it is, I am so far behind with discussions. Trying to get some of them responded back too so I can get more of them resolved.

I think I could come up with one discussion every day for a month. I'm thinking there's enough that goes down with just the news everyday that could be discussion-worthy! Plus my life has so many crooks and turns and spontaneous moments I am pretty sure I could do that. My challenge though, would be keeping up with it. I like to respond to each person who adds to the discussion and that is what gets time consuming.

Yes, finding the time to respond back to everyone that responds back to your discussions is quite time consuming and usually what will take up a lot of my time for sure. Especially since lately I have been quite limited to the amount of time that I can spend in here. To start a New discussion once a day would be possible if I had more time to spend here, but like you said more time consuming as well.

I wouldn't even attempt it. I have only started a few discussions and don't think I would have 30 ideas in a row. Also I feel that if you start a discussion, you should answer the responses, and that would take a lot of time! If you didn't answer the responses maybe you could do it, but otherwise no.

Personally if you were to look at the people who start a lot of New discussions all the time, probably most of them are left never responded back too, and many of them probably never will. I could never do this anymore myself is why I try limiting myself to the type of New discussions or amount I find myself starting at any one time as well.

hello tina! wow, you have quite a challenge huh? well, i can say, i am out of it. i find it hard to start topic which will really attract others. if you say, start a new topic once a day, it would be easy. but then the real question is, how interesting could your topic would be. well, of course you wanted to start a topic that will be interesting for others as well. there are forum sites i have seen that you can start any topic you like even if it is not interesting, it's easier for others to answer or respond to. but then the interesting part there is nothing. here in mylot, it would be more exciting to participate in discussions that are really interesting. don't you think?

Well, as you can see if you were to check my discussions and what I have started I could never do a 30 day challenge myself with New discussions. To come up with even 4 or 5 New ones a week would be asking almost too much unless there are things I feel I need to come in here and talk about. Personally I would rather start discussions people are interested in that just start discussions and have no one wanting to respond back as well.

I'd better check my record but i think i already did it. Funny that you started this discussion because when i was in the shower this morning i was thinking if it's possible to start 10 discussions in a day. I think that's too much though, i don't have enough time to think of 10 discussions to start in a day, well unless i would just start anything with less quality.

I often wonder how people like you are able to keep up and respond back to everyone? I know even the days where I am not working, and try to keep up in here it seems like it is a hard feat for sure. But to start a New discussion everyday could be an interesting thing to consider for sure.

It's the people who's comments are really worthwhile that inspires me to respond back. In fact it took me four days to finish responding to those who really spend time and effort to sincerely respond. I felt i really need to return back the favor. But lately i've been skipping those effortless nonsense ones.

I think I probably would be able to do it if I had no other responsibilities at home. I am confident that I could think of things to talk about; it’s keeping up with the responses I would struggle with! If I ever get the chance to go away on holiday and I can take my laptop I may even try it…But then again…It sounds like too much work lol!

Hello Krause, if PIECE OF CAKEif you asked me, I've been doing it for almost every single day now. if you are referring to 30 discussions in a day, that would be spamming, but if you're thinking of 30 discussions in a month, that is a lot easier. there's a bunch of people outhere who would't mind making more than 6 discussions in a day and good thing these people actually comment on their discussions.as long as am in the mood energetic and ready for it. have a nice day

I was meaning 30 New discussions in a month. A day for most people would be pushing it way past their limits. I have troubles keeping up with all the discussions that I have been starting here, and truly am trying to catch up with some of them, as you can as I speak.

I don't know if I could do this - coming up with thirty interesting, thought-provoking topics would be pretty hard, and keeping up with the replies (assuming you get some of course!) would be pretty tricky, especially towards the end of the month! I might try it though, just to see if I can do it. If I can, I'll be proud, and if I can't I'll maybe set myself a lower, more suited to me, type of goal for next month!

Hello Tina, I will have 30+ things to discuss here on MYLOT in a month but i definitely don't have the time to comment back to the responses i will get on those discussions therefore i start fewer discussions may be when i will get more time i will think about it but right now its really not possible for me due to my offline job and works.

Since I work almost Full time, plus dealing with Health issues, and soon to come major event at my Church, there are times I am lucky if I have the time to get online even. So for me to be able to start New discussions like this and find time to respond back to them all the time would be almost impossible feat for me as well.

Hello KrauseHome, I would not take the challenge because I know myself. As I read in the guidelines we are supposed to create a quality discussion and that is why I dont think I can create quality topic discussion everyday for one whole month, and to be a good topic starter we need to keep our eyes on the discussions by comment back to the responders. 30 new discussions in a month and suppose if each discussions has average 5 responds so I need to comment back 30 x 5 = 150 posts/

Well, I know personally this would be a lot of work to come up with something New of quality every day for 30 days, and then the thoughts of being able to keep up with all of them for sure. I know my time is quite limited. That is why I am responding back to people who respond to my discussions when time permits while also taking time to respond to discussions that others have started here as well.
